A great product for the price! Overall this is an excellent product for the price. Easy to assemble and ready for pick up as promised. The table looks very nice, and has fit nicely in the room. The pull out draw is acceptable, it is not on runners so does run on bare wood. Which works. My only concern is the lower shelf, it is held on tentatively and seems very flimsy. I would have changed the design to include a single piece of wood for the shelf for added strength, this design has two seperate pieces of wood that are very weak. I would not attempt to put very much weight on this shelf. Would I buy this product again.....yes.........would I recommend it.......yes. Very good walmart. Perfect for our little corner We are using the desk in a little corner in our kitchen. It is the perfect size. It holds our laptop, but not enough room for the printer. We found a corner shelf to go above the desk and our printer sits there. The shelf on the bottom of the desk is a little small in my opinion, but any bigger and it would just get in the way. I don't use it for much... I keep paper for the printer in a basket, but I tend to kick the basket.I haven't had any problems with the drawer. It slides perfectly. It is just big enough that you could keep printer paper in it along with a few odds and ends.The color is very nice, though I wouldn't consider it cherry. It matches the "honey oak" shelf that we bought for the printer.I am very happy with the desk. It is just what I was looking for. 01/17/2011
It met our expectations Thanks to the numerous reviews giving the "heads-up" on difficulties with putting this together it really went well. One of our LEFT SIDE references was actually a RIGHT SIDE part. Once my husband was convinced of that everything went into place. The unit took less than an hour to put together and looks great. The drawer slides with difficulty so we tried the old "rub a bar of soap on it" and it made it better. The desk fit perfectly into the corner and holds our 21" TV plus a lap-top computer for guests to use while visiting. I had read the color is not a true cherry and with this knowledge it fit really well with the room.Yippee, all went well (thanks to others who gave their input). 06/10/2010
Nothing's perfect, but... I love the size and the look of this desk; it's perfect for my laptop and printer, and takes up very little room, but the shelf anchored on the legs has a design flaw. The back corner has no support but a little 90-degree metal grommet, and I couldn't get it to stay attached. It's easy to fix, just nail or screw a couple of little wood bracings to the back legs and the bottom of the shelf, using a light touch - it's not solid wood! and be generous with the wood glue. 07/30/2007
