In the spring of 2011, Women's Bean Project invited professional chefs to submit recipes for their favorite lentil soup. It was tough to narrow the field to just one soup, but the winning combination was created by Giada DeLaurentiis, Food Network celebrity chef. Her recipe for Women's Bean Project Giada DeLaurentiis Lentil Soup Mix provides a terrific combination of Italian spices and herbs that surprises your palate. Mangia! At Women's Bean Project, it's not about the beans, it's about the women. All products are assembled by program participants at Women's Bean Project who are working to change their lives by learning the job readiness and life skills needed to get and keep a job.
