I think this basket will hold one good sized bag of groceries. I would be very careful about your center of gravity when you make turns, the extra weight in the front can make things a little tricky.

If you mean a large paper bag, it's about an inch short length wise. The basket is as wide as a paper grocery bag, but not as long. You could fit the bag in if it's not packed! It will easily hold a big plastic bag of groceries.

The inside measurements are 13 1/2" X 9 1/2" and 10 3/4" deep

sure but my awesome wald 157 giant bike basket will hold 6 bags of grocerries. you can get it at walmart.com too

Due to the thin wire construction I was able to return it to somewhat its original shape.

nice light basket

Ive had no problems with this basket. For people that say it doesnt fit their comfort bikes or cruisers you simply file down the " fatness " of the fork a little and hammer the lower basket supports on just a little. I have this bike basket and also the massive wald 157 giant basket and ive had to do the same thing on both my fat worked beach cruisers. people just need to get a little creative when faceing problems ;P

Its Good

I like the basket, it's nice and sturdy. However, it came missing with hardware and had to return it for a replacement. it's kind of a bummer due to the delay.

sturdy but not complete

This basket came with no instructions, i have absolutely No idea how to assemble it. Not sure why walmart thought it would be a good idea to distribute this without instructions.....

Not worth it

Good cheap product. However it came missing the nuts and bolts to put it together. I'm a "handy" kind of guy so I made it work with parts I had in my workshop, mainly because it wasn't worth my time dealing with tearing it apart and the time/money it would have costs me to deal with Walmart in returning it.

You get what you pay for.

It didn't come with instructions but I figured out how to install it. It was pretty hard especially since the nuts and bolts were junk and some didn't fit together I had to use my own parts to make it work.
