Better than 3 others Indeed this seems to be so far one of the better indoor antennas. The only down side is that it doesnt come with an attachment for the wall. Right now I have it placed next to my tv on the floor but I am thinking of some how clamping it the wall. I don't want to spend an additional $15-20 on j shaped hook that you can buy separately. 02/12/2012
The BEST indoor antenna by far I have tried about 10 different antennas since the digital conversion and this is BY FAR the BEST digital antenna I have used. I have tried the Phillips, RCA and Turk antennas ranging in price from $10-$65, but this is the best one for me. With the other antennas, after the channel is tuned in you will start to loose signal strength. The Winegard SS-3000 does not do this, instead it continues to amplify the signal. I'm getting all 40 channels available in my area using this thing. Make sure you set it RIGHT IN FRONT of a window, otherwise the signal strength will not be good no matter what indoor antenna you use. This antenna is also is not sensitive to your body's movement. I have BIG problems with the RCA Flat antenna I have in my bedroom. Every time I walk close to it the channel reception gets disrupted. Sometimes I'm watching TV while in bed and when I move the signal gets terribly disrupted. This is VERY annoying. The Winegard SS-3000 does not have this problem. This antenna will cost you around to $60 with tax, but it's worth every penny. It does not look like much when you take it out of the box, but it's a great antenna and I highly recommend it. 04/23/2012
