Rated 4 out of 5★ by Winchester Bulk is Good Buy The Winchester bulk 333 is fair ammunition. It does not shoot as accurately in some of my pistols as some other ammo, but does really great in some of my 22 rifles. In them it groups good enough to hit anything out to 50 yards and that is all you can ask for in 22 LR ammo. The good side of this ammo is its price. The price varies from Wal-mart store to Wal-mart store, but in my local store it is by far the cheapest I can buy. I have had very few failure to fires and that was only in one gun. Every pistol likes different ammo and this is accurate in one of my Rugers. I will buy more of this ammo when my store gets it in. The New Improved Remington 22 LR with 225 rounds per box is some of the best and a little more accurate in all of my pistols.Piedpiper46 12/15/2012
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Won't cycle properly in my bolt action Marlin I was so happy when I stumbled upon these at my local Walmart a few weeks ago. I finally took some to the range last night along with my Marlin XT-22 chambered in 22LR. I could not figure out why I was having problems with them feeding from the magazine to the chamber. The bolt would strip a round from the magazine and then the nose of the cartridge would hit the outer edge of the chamber face and not go into the chamber. I thought it was the feed lips of the magazine or I had somehow damaged the bolt face. I was making myself crazy trying to figure it out, and then I loaded some Remington Golden bullets I had been using previously. Problem solved! The Winchester bullets are shorter and flatter than any other cartridge I had used before and they constantly were not chambering unless I pulled the bolt back a few tenths of an inch and then the nose of the bullet would snap up into the proper position to be chambered. Every other cartridge I've used is longer and rounder at the nose and loads the first time every time. Very disappointing. I bought the XT-22 so I could shoot any cheap ammo I could find and it won't cycle these worth a darn. 07/04/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Very happy to find it at Walmart - great ammo This ammo works great in my Savage semi-auto rifle. Only about 1-2 FTF or FTE per box of 333 rounds. Not bad for low cost ammo. Also, with current 22LR ammo shortages, I was very happy to find one box in Westchester, NY store (the price went up about 20% in the last 10 months, though). 12/29/2013
