Excellent football! Have used them for years. Top quality and they last a long time. Looking to get more. I have compared them to the Spalding J5 and Alpha series, and the Wilson TD series is a far better product. I have been using the Wilson product for over 20 years.

Cheaper Wilson footballs are better the the more expensive ones. The color is off looks red.

Is it common for this ball to be rock hard on each end when you first get it? Will it soften over time? My 12-year-old son just got one and I had to stop throwing with him after 20-30 throws because my hands hurt.

Also, how much scuffing should show on the nose of the ball after 20-30 throws?
