Works well! I don't iron much, maybe a few pairs of pants and shirts for my husband once a week. This works much better than a table iron. Actually, it works well for me. I did need to put little pads in a few areas as it scratched up my closet door but once the pads were on, it works. I store the board inside my closet and then take it out and place it on outside of door. Make sure you know where you will be putting this before buying. You need to have it near an outlet. We have lots of doors but only one with an outlet next to it. Opening and closing is rather easy. Mine sticks a bit but once I jiggle the board a little, it slides well. Padding is good. Excellent space saver I live in a small apartment and space is very limited. I hated having to grapple with my old bulky ironing board everyday and had no place to really store it practically ... it was an eyesore. This product was the perfect solution. It is out of the way, it is just the right height, and looks nice. I also discovered that there is a hook attached to the ironing board that allows you to store your iron with the board. And it comes with 2 different sized door hooks so that it can fit any door. Those features were like an added bonus. There isn't really much assembly required and it is easy to use. Overall, this ironing board is considerably more expensive than most standard ones, but definitely worth it, especially if you have a small living space. 03/04/2011
What you pay for I just got this ironing board because I don't have space for storage of a huge one. I'm not a frequent ironer ( I prefer to just take to the cleaners).Still if you when you need one, this is ideal as a space saver. The only issue is the lever that releases the board. It sticks and I need to use a screw driver. But, at least it doesn't release every time I open the door on it's own. Also, when assembling, it doesn't tell you to bend the hooks when fitting to your door, but that makes all the difference. Great for the price. 06/15/2010
great product, especially since i live in a dorm, the only thing i suggest is for you to get a door stopper cause when you iron the door moves. Other than that it works great for me! 09/01/2010
