Rated 3 out of 5 by May fit most washers, did not fit mine I was pretty excited about this product, it was pretty much exactly what I needed for more shelving in our small apartment. Unfortunately, when I put it together (fairly simple to do, but no instructions included at all) and tried to fit in on the washer, it would only fit against the washer at a sloping angle. I raised it to a level position and measured it. There was a 3 inch gap. So basically, the product is not exactly what I expected. If you have a Hotpoint washer, this product probably won't fit properly. I did test it to see if it was sturdy enough to hold my large container of All and it holds up pretty well, just looks kind of funny at that angle. 07/15/2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Organizational Solution I am very pleased with this shelf. It works great on my washer and gives me the extra storage I need. I was able to easily adjust it so that it was level (other people have complained that it is not level, but the directions say you can bend the support pieces. It was very easy to do so and I was able to get it to the position I needed). The only minor issue that I have is that I use liquid detergent that lays on its side to dispense, so I have to put it all the way to the one end or else the top for the washer won't open all the way b/c it bumps into the nozzle (I have a top-loader). 11/13/2009

Unfortunately due to the weight of the products I placed on it, it is not perfectly level, but it does the trick for me and decluttered and organized my supplies. It is easy to assemble and install and should fit most washers well. I am considering getting one for the dryer too. 09/29/2009

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shelving - glad I bought two! I saw this online and was a little skeptical about it only because a few people had mentioned that they didn't fit on their particular washers. I bought two of them, anyway, in hopes that they did fit my washer and my dryer. I really wanted them because the wall behind my washer/dryer is concrete and I didn't want to have to drill shelves into it. They arrived in such a timely manner and it was a breeze to pick them up from the store (I did site-to-store for the free shipping). We put them on the washer and dryer both in just few minutes and I was so pleased! They hold all of my laundry items wonderfully and I would recommend them to anyone. 03/02/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty good storage shelf! Fit on top of our front loading dryer just fine. Another one would fit across the top/back of our top loading washer, but we have pipes in the way. Otherwise, we'd get a second one in a flash. The weight of our large (warehouse club store size) laundry detergent bottle does make it sag a bit, but we are still very happy with the use of the shelf! We'd recommend it! 01/03/2010

When the washer spins, everything moves around on top but NEVER falls off. Great for a small space. I had to pull out the washer a bit more from the wall though. 09/21/2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by good idea doesn't fulfill promise Shelf is sturdy and attractive, but every time I do a heavy load of towels, everything shakes off with the spin cycle. I ruined an entire load when the bleach came off and dribbled into the load through the washer lid. Better to have a shelf which attaches to the wall 08/04/2010

Save yourself some time buy some closet maid shelving and you can have a shelf that is actually big enough to fit the detergent (large size) bottles on it and you can custom fit it to the length you need, (ex., cover washer AND dryer) it will also support the weight of heavy items! i threw away this garbage! 08/14/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by The laundry shelf is a wonderful space-saver. I have a Maytag Bravos washer and dryer and the shelf fits perfectly on both. I did have to pull the washer and dryer out from the wall a little further than they were. My shelf came with assembly directions and I was able to put it together in a couple of minutes (I am an over 65 female). I had to bend the legs only slightly to make it level. 05/25/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for laundry supplies These shelves really solved my problem of space. They fit on top of my washer and dryer pretty well. The braces in back help to keep them in place. They do extend out a little in front, but that's because my appliances are pretty close to the wall. All in all, they solved the problem for me. 04/01/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what I needed! This over the washer shelf is great. However, I am grateful I read other reviews or I would have returned it. When I first put it on top of the washer, it hung down so far, it was nowhere near level. I had read somewhere to bend back the leg extensions to meet up with your washer. I had to do this several times until I had it to the correct level for my washer. Now it's almost perfect. The only thing I don't like, is the front edge prevents the really large detergent to set level. 03/10/2011
