Stumbled upon another brand of space-saving hangers without the flocking & thought there were some instances where they would work easier --the flocked hangers seemed to "drag" on certain types of materials. Bought a 10-pack & loved them, but then couldn't find them again. Happy to see Walmart carrying these on-line--I am now switching out my entire closet. These hangers really do save space because they fill out the shoulder area on shirts & blouses where it meets the sleeve (no more mid-shoulder "bumps"!). Regular hangers stop short of the sleeve & cause the excess fabric to bunch up, which then takes up more closet space.

I use the bare plastic hangers for drying clothing that I don't want to put into the dryer. The flocked hangers are good for camisole-type tops, skinny strapped items, & silky materials, but the majority of my clothes, & even certain styles of my sweaters now hang on the un-flocked style, as they are easier to put into the item. I can honestly say that my clothes hang better, & my closet looks more uniform. Plus, I was able to consolidate some clothing I had been storing in a second closet into only one closet.

Walmart's pricing is great for these hangers, & the delivery service okay, but I wish these hangers would've been carried in the store, as the urge to re-do a closet doesn't happen too often!!

Space-Saving without the fuzzy hanger hassle

Flocked hangars have their place when you have wide-necked or silky clothing that falls off the hangar all the time, but for most all other clothing, these unflocked, thin hangars are much more practical. It is a pain to use flocked hangars on every clothing item, as it sticks and takes extra long to hang everything up. I am surprised there is not more of a selection in the thin, unflocked hangars in terms of color, style and durability as they make so much sense. I would love to see these hangars in other colors than black - and less utilitarian looking.

However, these hangars are GREAT for maximizing space in small closets. I was delighted to find them and they are working great in my son's closet.

As far as quality, they are good value for the price. They could be a bit more durable/sturdy, but I have only had a few break from time to time, mostly from kids aggressively pulling clothes off the hangar (similar to how plastic hangars break at the neck).

Bottom line, if you are looking for great hangars to maximize space - without the flocking - these are the way to go.

More practical than thin flocked hangars

Great hangers. I love the tough and feel of them. No more "falling off the hanger" issues because of the soft but durable felt-like material. Even spaghetti strap items hang well without falling off. They are closet room savers because you do not have the bulk of the tube like plastic hangers. Say goodbye to the old classic metal hangers. No fuss. No rust.

FANSTASTIC DEAL FOR "NO SLIP" HANGERS

I love these hangers. Yes, they must be treated carefully, you can't tug them, bend them or toss them about or they will break, but when treated properly they are sturdy enough and do save a lot of space in your closet. l love them. I also have the flocked ones that hold on to slippery fabrics, but by far I prefer the plastic ones because the clothing goes on and off them easily. I just purchased this batch from Walmart, but I have been using similar ones for years. I would never be able to have all the clothes I do if it weren't for these wonderful hangers. I hadn't seen them around in a while and was delighted to find they were available at Walmart.

Great space saver!

I use a combination of the flocked hangers for items that fall off and the smooth hangers for items that stick to the flocked hangers and make it difficult.  Love the fact that all the hangers are space saving and look great in my closet.  And the hangers will twist at the hanger portion if you will gently turn them while holding on to the plastic part.

Most hangers in this style have a fuzzy coating that I don't care for.

Pros:
-No fuzzy coating that may eventually peel off
-Easy to clean
-Clothes slip on-and-off easily
-Collars have some support
-Slim style takes up less space on closet rod

Cons
-Slippery clothes may slip off too easily
-Not the best for heavy items that are better on a thicker hanger, like suit coats or winter outerwear
-Hangers with cupped or padded shoulders are better for heavy knits

I have a lot of button-up shirts, short-sleeve and long-sleeve, and these hangers work great for these, and take up less valuable real estate on the closet rod.

Good hangers, hard to find

I am putting my home on the market soon, so I needed to show more space in my closets. I ordered 200 of these space-saver hangers, and I was able to replace all of my plastic hangers with the new hangers. My closets look so much more organized and spacious.

Very happy with my new hangers!!

this hanger is very slender and sturdy and its large enough to hold even open neck blouses without them slipping off. At 1st it seemed they would take up as much room as a thin plastic tubular hanger; but I can see now how they are saving a tiny amount of space for each hanger which has freed more room on my closet rod.

When these hangers came in the mail, three were broken! They were broken right in the middle where the metal hook is supposed to be attached, so I couldn't fix them with glue. Other than that, they are doing the job. These do not work for wide necked shirts or anything with straps/loops, since the hanger is slippery and does not have any hooks or grips. For what you pay for, it is a decent value. However, I would not recommend buying these since obviously they are not packaged well.
