I believe the box said somewhere around 23 lbs. I currently have 10 dress shirts, 10 slacks, 2 suits, 1 wool overcoat, 1 leather bomber, 1 lightweight cotton jacket, and 1 tie carousel with 20 ties. All this is hanging off the top section. I have nothing in the bottom section (at the moment). Only problem I see with the rack is the sections are not long enough to hold suit jackets and long shirts. But you can hang those off the ends of the rack.

There is not a defined weight limit for this garment rack. It is made for regular clothing and will not hold heavy coats.

not a lot of weight. the rods too close together to hang adult clothes on the top without covering the lower rack. adult clothes on the lower rack would probably touch the floor. I use it for toddler clothes (short & lightweight) which works well for me but I can't let the toddlers pull on it because it sways side to side too easily.

Not much weight on the top rack or it falls over. I used this for uniforms and only had 8 uniform shirts hanging on the top and 6 pairs of pants on the bottom and it tipped over.

We don't know. We use it for hanging our shirts and pants when they come out of the dryer (2 of us), as we did with the other one. But I did not see any weight specification for either. We think we have put apx 15-20 lbs on it, but we didn't actually weigh the clothes.

Not much more than 10lbs. I may have had 15-20 lbs on it and it shattered the lower braces and one of the t fittings. The rack may hold more if you do not assemble with the casters due to the force being placed in the center of the lower braces. Hope this helped you.

I have about twenty shirts and slacks on each bar. No flexing of either crossbar.
I would not do chin ups on it.

It can hold a lot if you measure both poles top and bottom ones so the bottom pole will not fall and its even.

No, the height only adjusts -- from 42.75" to 73".

Yes, it shipped to my home in a small box. You can "break" it down to small parts if you want.

There is one height adjustment that lowers it to just about 2 inches higher than the middle bar. I believe it will fit in the back seat of a mid sized car from the floor to the roof. It might however, be too tall if it is placed on the seat.

No- it does not "fold" down, you would have to disassemble it, in order to fit into a vehicle

It was not designed specifically to do this, however, the assembly is so simple, I think you could do it relatively easily. Might take 60 seconds to piece it back together.

Length is across - width is from the wall toward you and height is height
