It looks nice on the website pics, but as soon I opened the box, I realized that it's very poor quality. The doors didn't line up right and they don't close all the way, and they fall off all the time I open them. I definitely, don't recommend this product.

This cabinet is a good buy for the price. It was easy to put together. I did it by myself with a cast on my leg on crutches. The tank on my toilet was a little too high for the bottom arched molding but I was able to still use it for support by screwing it in on its side. It still looked fine. The one thing you always have to watch for with this kind of cabinet is getting it in place around your water lines and then getting the back support piece in place. My water line went into the floor so it was no problem but if yours goes into the wall you will have to put the bottom half in place before screwing in the bottom support. If this cabinet is close to the wall like mine was it is a really tight fit. You'll have to think about it first and use a little finesse. Also, the cabinet knobs are plain white plastic. I personalized mine by replacing them with white ceramic knobs that had a nautical theme.

I bought this cabinet using site to store pickup which was wonderful. It came a whole week earlier than estimated. The box was not damaged at all. Once we took the pieces out of the box, we quickly learned that this was not going to be an easy project. Some of the holes that were predrilled were larger than they were supposed to be so we had to use washers so that the screw heads did not go right though the first board. Other holes were completely not there. And there were also some extra holes in places that we did not need. We were able to make it work but drilling on particle board is not the easiest especially when you are trying to line it up with other holes. I know you get what you pay for. I have bought and ordered a ton of stuff from Walmart but this has to be the poorest built piece of furniture that I have ever bought. I know that not all pieces are created equal, so if you decide to buy one of these, you may get one that has no issues, but beware.

This was an excellent find for the price! I am very happy with the overall appearance and quality. I was budget shopping and in desperate need of this type of cabinet for my small bathroom. I hesitated at first due to the price as comparitively it was much less than the others. Wow! I'm glad I decided to take the chance. First of all the no S&H for site to store. Thank You! Next I was amazed how easy it was to put together ( Thanks to my brother who put it together in about 25 mins! ) It is quite sturdy and we didn't even need to attach it to the wall. ( which they include a strap if you decide to do this ) It looks great! I am very happy and pleased with this little treasure I found. Thank You Walmart for a great product at such a great price!

Elsewhere, I found nicer looking units made of the same materials, but for almost twice the price. This unit provided inexpensive and helpful storage in a small bathroom where there was not much more possible storage space. I like having both the open shelves and a shelf with doors. The unit looks nice, but not expensive. The many white screw caps on each side make for a less clean look. I would prefer screw heads that are recessed, with covers to make the sides flat. Other holes are covered over by a white sticker; there were extra stickers than the number listed in the the parts list, and I used all the stickers. The "wood" is mainly a type of fiberboard, which is not unexpected, but the type of wood is not noted on the packaging. The "paneled-look" back board appears to be like a strong cardboard. This cheaper material is somewhat noticeable in that two seams were darker where the cardboard had been folded for packaging. Also, the back board paneling does not really match that of the front doors, but only if one looks closely. To get the back board to lie flat, I used additional nails (many extras were provided) beyond those used for the existing pre-drilled holes. The dimensions I measured for the toilet space were 30-1/2"(height), 21-3/8" (width). The shelves are 7" depth, or 6-3/8" depth for the shelf with the doors; these depths are fine for hand towels and washcloths, but not big towels. The shelve heights are not adjustable. Assembly instructions are clear. An electric screwdriver helps in assembly, but most of the screws are hex screws (I used a 5/32 hex bit). A hex wrench was included. Fortunately, the unit was engineered so that the doors can be adjusted for alignment. Overall, this unit served its purpose in providing storage, and was a reasonable price.

I love the look of this spacesaver with its two display shelves and cabinet for storing more mundane items. This product comes with a bead board back panel which unfortunately is white cardboard scored with vertical lines to give the appearance of bead board. The scoring is uneven with some lines more deeply cut than others. Not sure how the cardboard will hold up in a bathroom. The other negative is that the doors (recessed panel with vertical lines to continue the bead board theme) are white plastic, although surprisingly they don't look bad in the finished product. The rest of the spacesaver is made from particle board and compressed wood. Since this is a white painted item and you aren't going to see the wood grain anyway, it wasn't critical to me that real wood wasn't used. The compressed wood is heavy enough to steady what is essentially a tall, thin cabinet. Having assembled several of these "furniture out of a box" products over the years, I appreciated that the assembly instructions were well written and every predrilled hole that was supposed to be there was actually present and lined up correctly with its counterpart. I replaced the white plastic knobs that came in the box with satin nickel knobs from Lowe's to match my existing bath hardware and the finished spacesaver really looked cute:)! It was very sturdy, didn't feel at all flimsy or wobbly, so I didn't bolt it into the wall, although a strap for that purpose is provided. I would gladly have paid more for better materials in the back panel and cabinet doors, but for the price, this is really a good value. If it looks good for five years or more, I will be well satisfied.

We're handy, and even we can't make this work. The doors hit the sides when opened and then fall off in our hands. HUGE gaps on top and bottom of doors, so even if we use some real hinges, there is still a gap of nearly 1/4" below and above door. Defeats the purpose of doors? We weren't expecting high quality, but we were expecting doors that function as designed. We'll be taking this junk back to the store.

All of the parts were there, took about an hour or so to put together using a power screwdriver. Was about 6" short for my toilet tank so i made and installed my own extensions. I recommend using all of the extra nails to tack the paper backing onto the shelves otherwise it will bend outward and leave gaps.

No! Just no! I bought this, had someone assemble it, and we took it apart again and returned it. I can't begin to explain how unsteady it was, and how uneven the doors were (despite numerous adjustments by someone very experienced at doing this). After a very long amount of time, he had been able to align the doors but they wouldn't stay that way. It was so flimsy it practically took itself apart, and I am not exaggerating. I actually ended up exchanging this for a lower-priced one. $20 cheaper, same manufacturer, and the quality is much, much better. Do yourself a favor, and run like the wind from this one.

    • A. There should be a screw and a nylon piece to help anchor the unit to the wall from the top. You will need the correct additional screw (of your choice - i.e. drywall screw) to attach it to your bathroom wall. Best used if you have alot of traffic in the bathroom and want to avoid it ca-lapsing onto someone.

    • A. I think it could be painted after being sanded a little, BUT it is particle board so the paint may chip easily. Also, there are little white plastic caps that cover the visible screws so I don't know about painting those. You probably also want diffent door knobs cuz they're white plastic also.

    • A. This or any unit of this type can be painted, but you must use a SPECIFIC type of paint to adhere to this material. You can use Cabinet Rescue from Home Depot (approx. $20), which can be tinted to any pastel or lighter shade (I have used this to repaint kitchen cabinets), and is relatively easy to use. Also, Rustoleum puts out a product called Furniture Transformations (approx. $35), which is more labor-intensive, but has a wide selection of colors and can be glazed to give it a wood-type look. Check it online. It is available at Home Depot or Lowes. Good luck!
