Rated 1 out of 5 Walmart should quit selling it I took this back within an hour of getting it home and opening it.1. The mill plates were not aligned properly2. The mill plates did not adjust as they were supposed to3. The handle would hardly stay on and did not connect well4. The rubber pad for the clamp was missingAs I said in the summary, Walmart should quit selling this product. Sell something of higher quality. This Weston grain mill is a real piece of junk.On the other hand, Walmart took this back without question. Customer service was really good. 04/20/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Satch2013 Upon opening I scrubbed it well in soapy water to get rid of the oil/petroleum smell...I'm assuming this was for rust prevention.I'm using this for grinding grain for homebrewing. I've removed the handle and attached a bolt so I can drive this with my drill.I've only used it for one batch and it went well.I needed to replace the existing washers that are used to hold the cover over the grinding element...the existing washers were too small. In addition, the ball bearing that pushes the rotating grind element against the stationary element needed to be "adjusted". There was a small washer/ring designed to keep the ball bearing but it didn't allow any adjustment. I removed this and now have to be careful when taking it apart so i don't lose the ball bearing. 04/19/2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by RLMemphis Poor quality Would not stay together, poor manufactoring. Had to wire it together to grind the meal. Took it back the next day for a refund. Do not waste your time and money on this product. 02/10/2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by 44Secret Looks sturdy but looks can be decieving Machined parts are loose and don't fit together well. The metal shaved itself off just by cranking the handle with nothing in the mill.Upon closer inspection the mill looks like someone pieced it together in their garage.We're sending this back. 12/30/2012
