It completely automates the backup process so you can rest assured your backups are up to date even without your intervention. The password protection ensures your sensitive data is not compromised. You can use the external hard disk right out of the box with any Windows based system. To use it with OSX Snow Leopard, the drive has to be formatted separately. Apart from the hard disk and SmartWare, the package also bundles a USB cable and an install guide.
