Lightweight and thin This might have it's best use if you are hiking and need light stuff to carry. It would provide a bit of extra warmth inside your bag, but still be easy to carry. I would describe the inside as brushed cotton, or maybe faux suede, with a slippery red shiny fabric on the outside...not "fleece" as it is described. Very thin but it was fairly warm.I bought this thinking it would serve as a top sheet if it was hot at night. Instead we had 47-50 degree nights. Maybe next camp trip we'll be able to use it, but couldn't this time. It kept slipping off the bed when we tried to use it opened up as extra blanket. (I had previously purchased fleece liners before I bought this one.) 08/19/2011
