DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!! Bought this item for my husband for Christmas after much consideration - after years of having a small treadmill I wanted for him to have a bigger sturdier and up-to-date model. I was hesitant because of the cost, but went ahead with the purchase because I figured the product would ultimately work great and he would love it. WRONG! We set the machine up today - the day after Christmas. I went for a 40 minute walk and then my hubby went for a run. The platform broke! I weigh 150lbs and he weighs just shy of 200lbs. SO DISAPPOINTED!HOWEVER...my local Wal Mart made it incredibly easy to return this product (considering we spent 2 hours assembling, and another 2 hours disassembling - the unit is a monster and VERY heavy) and I exchanged it for a Gold's Gym model they had in the store. Cost half the price and it is just as nice (maybe nicer) and I ultimately saved more than half of the purchase price. SHIPPING OF 99 DOLLARS WAS NOT REFUNDABLE. Live and learn. Won't make a large purchase like this online ever again! 12/26/2008
Huge running surface I saw that it used to be well over a thousand dollars and decided to see if it was good. It is so much bigger than my old unit. I love the spacious running area and how strong the arms are. 03/30/2012
