Customer Product Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5★ by 121reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5★ by This is GREAT!!!!!! My wife and I love it. It allows our little one to sit up front and give him the feel that he is in control. I feel better knowing that he is right in front of me and I can support and monitor his action. One down side is you can't stand up while riding. If you are riding up an incline you may have to get off and push.Great for leisure riding around the neighborhood. Easy to assemble and easy to interchange between my bike and my wife's bike.Suggestion: add a little more padding to the sit. 08/21/2011
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Great in theory but not very practical... When I saw this product in the store, I thought it was a great idea and ended up buying it. I came home, took it out of the box, and realized the seat was a lot smaller than expected. My husband put it on my mt. bike anyway and then we went for a test ride. My daughter loved it but it was very difficult for me to ride!! I'm 5'2" and tried to keep my legs as far apart as possible. It was very uncomfortable and they still rubbed on the seat. I also had to lean over in order to reach the handle bars and kept bumping my daughter's head. I am really disappointed and will be returning the seat for something else! :( 08/15/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Perfect for us! I never take time to write reviews but I thought my experience would be helpful to others looking for a child seat. I purchased the bell rear child seat and it took me over an hour to install it (and I am no rookie at assembling bikes and furniture) only to realize my childs legs were wedged against my seat when she was riding. And it felt quite unbalanced when riding with her back there. I returned it and got the wee ride. I had it on my bike in 10 minutes. It is super easy to install and my 3 1/2 year old who is 35 lbs and 39 1/2 inches tall fits in the seat nicely. And just to see, I put my 42 lb 44 inch tall 5 yr old in it and she also fits fine. So I honestly don't understand the complaints about the seat being too small for a 2 year old. And for reference, I am a petite 5'2" and I ride a 26" womens beach cruiser. There is enough room between me and my child to feel comfortable and it feels completely balanced with her on there. I do have to pedal slightly bow legged but it's not extreme or uncomfortable at all. I only wish I would have gotten one sooner. My mom has also purchased one so she can take the grandkids on her bike and she shares my thoughts on the seat. 06/27/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by very fun!!! We have had this little seat for about a month and we love it. We like that is provides a place for our little girl to hold on to while we ride and she loves it. I highly recommend it to others. 07/06/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Wonderful Product I almost bought a seat for the rear of the bike as that is all I had ever seen when I came across this great product just before I was ready to make a purchase. I am so glad I did. Do not focus on the negative reviews. My only strong suggestion is that you should be a capable rider of several years before you put a toddler on a bike (with any bike seat) and you should stay on bike paths and off of streets.About me, I am 6 feet tall 200 pounds and I have a cross bike with a 21 inch frame. The seat fits perfect and I am able to ride with no issues. I do have to flair my knees out a little so I do not hit the rear of the seat but it is minimal. If someone if having troubles pedaling and hitting the seat, they probably have their seat way too low (which is not the correct position for a seat). Also, I would not wear cleats. The install is very easy and takes about 10 minutes. I had no issues with the installation or the parts. Everything worked as expected. The only thing you must ensure is that you have about 3/8 of an inch of free space on the front up tube to install the cross bar. The cross bar is hollow underneath and needs only a little space but it does need space and you do not want in touching the nut on the handle bar stem otherwise is will affect the steering.Yes the seat is tiny. However, do not let that sway you away. My 15 month old is 24 pounds and 31 inches tall. She is big for her age. With that said she fit comfortably on the seat and never complained. The 5 point harness is good, just make sure it is cinched up snuggly. One last note. The biggest issue we encountered was getting the helmet on her head. When we went to store she really did not like it being put on her at all. Once we got home, mom and I wore our helmets around the house for a while and then we put hers on. After that, she wore it for over an hour. Problem solved. Also, while she had no issues at all getting in the seat and being strapped down, I did begin process of acclimating her to the bike for several weeks prior to the first ride. At first she would watch me leave for my bike rides, then I would also put her on my bike seat and push the bike around the garage. She really like this and it set the stage for her first ride.Last thought; having my 15 month old in front of me is priceless for both of us. She gets to see the world all around us instead on watching my rear which would be the alternative with the other seats. 06/30/2014
Rated 4 out of 5★ by My son is almost 3yrs old and about 30lbs. Although he fits in it now I can't see him fitting it in comfortably at 4. The seat is very small. For now its great though, he loves sitting up front! 01/14/2012
Rated 2 out of 5★ by VERY TINY SEAT I get why the seat is so tiny, being forward facing it needs to be compact for the comfort of the bike rider. However, I was mislead in the product info ages (1-4) thinking it would hold my (on the taller side 2 year old) I think I will be able to use it for this Summer only which is a disappointment. When you pull the seat out of the box you will think it is an extra seat for the kids doll! That is how small it is. Not recommended for taller toddlers! 07/15/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Excellent Child carrier This work really good with Cruiser type of bike. I am not sure if it works with Mountain bikes. Excellent child carrier. My son loves it. 07/25/2010
