My Daughter Still Gives it 5 Stars! The Wappy Dog was number one on my 10-year-old daughter’s Christmas list and she squealed with delight when she opened it and her new 3DS. Unlike the other reviewer’s daughter, mine still plays with both. It is nice that she can play the game without the interactive toy for car rides, etc. If it is still available with the dog-bone stylus, than that is the way to order one. I would not pay extra for it, but at basically the same price it is a nice bonus.I asked her today, February 25, 2012 and she still gives it five stars. The interactive toy’s cheeks change color when in play to show its mood. My daughter types questions in the DS/3DS and then puts it in front of the toy and it answers on the screen. For example, she types in “are you hungry” and it replies “a jelly roll please”. She also makes the toy play songs. I do not know how, but I see her do it.As far as value, $50 seems high, but the price is holding firm, which tells me that most girls feel like my daughter. These games seem to hold their price when they are good games. As an example, most Mario franchise games are still selling at their original pricing, some after years of availability. 02/25/2012
