The 260 PSI has nothing to do with with the amps of the product. PSI has nothing to do with power. PSI stands for Pounds Per Square Inch.
Like you inflate the tires of your automobile to a certain PSI.
The DC-12V means it runs off normal 12 Volt power (a car battery). A 5 Amp item adapter will only supply power for an item needing up to 550 watts.

There is no direct realtion to PSI and power. It depends on the compressor. What you can do is measure the amps being drawn when attached to the battery in your car. If the amps are less than 5, you can use it. You need an amp-meter to do this. Most multimeters sold now have a DC current function so this should not be a problem. The meter gets hooked up in series with one of the power leads.

I would not use it with any kind of air compressor. I'd be afraid that the air compressor would draw too much power and mess up the 12V DC adapter.

Ohms Law. Amps[5] X Volts[12]=Watts[60]
This power supply or charger would have a maximum output of 60 watts. It would work with lower wattage equipment[if the connecter was compatible] but any equipment over 60 watts would overload and burn up[FRY] the supply.

Power is lost when converting from AC to DC electricity. Even though the unit may require 60 watts input, the output will be something less than 60 watts. Some designs have poor efficiencies and therefore their power output is much less than their power input. I did not see where the manufacturer listed the power output.

The output load is 5 amps .. to find the watts use the following - w=watts , v=volts , I=amps ,,, v*I=w ,, that's volts times amps equals watts . So 12v * 5 amps = 60 watts .

great gizmo to have

I have been searching the Internet and local vendors regarding this product and Walmart came out with the best price. The shipping timeline was great; it was delivered as expected.

Best bang for your buck!

When purchasing the Wagan refrigerator/warmer, I wanted to be able to take the thing into a motel room, after enjoying its keeping my cold drinks really cold during the trip. The only way to do this is to have this converter to plug into while I sleep the night through.

A lot cheaper than the coleman brand one that I was going to order from coleman. Only issue is it gets very hot. But I can't remember if the coleman  one that came with the cooler got hot or not

Replacement cord

Advertises the Wegan 9903, sends some cheaper Chinese unit. Beware if you want the Wegan 9903.

Not the Wegan 9903

The adapter powered on and showed a green "ready" light. When I plugged in my air mattress pump, the adapter would work for half a second and then stop. The light would go out and then come back on. After a five second pause it would repeat this process. In other words, it was useless for the task of pumping up my camping air mattress. I returned the item to a Walmart store for full credit. The return process was super easy.

This Adapter Doesn't Work For Air Compressors.

Bought this to power a portable air compressor to make putting air in my RV tires easier. This adapter was not able to provide the juice to work the air compressor. It states it will power many devices, just know an air compressor is not one of them.

Not powerful enough

Like: It works perfectly fine.  It's a 12v 5Amp AC to DC cigarette adapter.

Dislike: It is not the brand name Wagan Tech.  It's called EDACPOWER.  It supposed to say equivalent.

Not the specific brand name

I spent a fair amount of time looking over the internet for this product. I was surprised at the range of prices for the item that has the same specifications. The price I paid seems to meet the price value equation. Hope it works when I put it to real use in a few months.

Wish I could have gotten it for my beach trip last month but the order to receipt time was toooo long.
