I live in the country, 60 miles from San Antonio and 60 miles from Austin. I'm picking up both cities (51 channels), all the major networks plus some. GREAT

Purchased this Winegard HD7698P after reading several positive reviews and it  preformed as the reviews stated. 
This antenna received all my local channels with a clear pictures, even the ones past antennas could not. I'm finally cutting ties with my cable company for TV service.

I DECIDED IT WAS JUST TOO BIG FOR ME TO INSTALL AND I DID NOT HAVE ANYONE TO HELP ME.  I RETURNED IT AND ALL PAPERWORK SEEMED TO FLOW SMOOTHLY.

The performance and  mechanical construction.  There is an electrical issue with the antenna to coax " box"  that the manufacture should address..  85 channels from the Atlanta area from 65 miles.

The matching box could use a better construction  as it seems to be a question as to weather you will have a good connection or not.
All in all, it is a very good design antenna and it does work very well in my area, Nice construction and it  should handle the weather OK.
