Broke within two months! I had only used this set on my husband and 2 boys for two months, I liked it during use. While in the middle of a hair cut it slipped out of my hand and fell 2 feet onto carpet while I was changing the piece and the whole head fell off. I know it comes off to clean it but it's supposed to snap back on but we noticed a tiny plastic piece had broken about the size of a lemon seed which enabled us to snap the head back on. I know I dropped it, but you'd think it wouldn't be made so cheaply for that to happen. We had bought this to replace a 3 year old Wahl set that had just stopped working. Now I have many attachments and need to replace it again! My advice is to spend a little more on a set and hope it's made better. 11/12/2011
Excellent Kit. Thsi is my first "Rechargeable " hair cutter kit ever bought and have to give it "5 Star" review. The first reson i admire it is because it is usable almost any where( If charged for a few hours or over night, every week or so). Plus it can be used plugged in (charging power cord)when there isnt time to charge or using for multiple hair cuts at a time. But will last through a normal single adult hair cut , and with power to spare. Also ,Very good rechargeable battery capacity. Quiet operation compared to all my previous electric cutters. Excellent "All Around even cutting " . Many accessories for different style cuts," Hand Mirror" is bonus also,Great! Also a good cleaning is necessary maintenance for subsequent cuts. I use a Compresed air"Dust Off" for this ,takes all excess hair clippings off fast (Even a small wisk brush will work also). And definatly use the included "Wahl Oil" for blades occasionally for smooth operation.Works Perfect! Durable product from a well known company as Wahl. 10/01/2011
