It's about 15 - 20 degrees depending on how far your cords stick out the back of the TV. Due to all the connection being on the back of my Toshiba I can only tilt it a few degrees. It does come with half inch or larger nylon spacers to push it out a little further.

It should with no problem. It holds up to a 55" TV and up to 130lbs. It has five or six bags of harware included for TV's of all types. It has mountings for flat back and arched back TV's. I mounted a 48" Toshiba by myself. The only thing I could suggest is that before you lift up the TV to hang it on the rail, hook up the video cords if the connectors are on the back of the TV.

This is a GREAT product. Strong medal framework, and easy to assemble. I'm not exactly " Mr. Fix It ", and it only took me 30 minutes to put it all together. Hardest part was finding the studs in the wall. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Easy Peasy

I was a little worried about buying a tv wall mount from Walmart, because it is cheaper so I would think the way it's made is cheaper too. I was wrong, this wall mount is easy to install, it has instructions for going into studs and concrete walls! Very sturdy and the small strap to lock in the bottom hook is very easy and smart, because you can grab onto it without moving the tv around! I would highly recommend this product! I have a 52 inch flat screen tv and it looks awesome mounted and the mount was only $114 you can't beat it!

Easy Install, Sturdy and Safe

This was the first mount I have ever put up and it was very easy to install. I would recomend that you read the directions first and follow them to a "T". Very happy with the product as it is made of high quality materials. I would purchase another one my Sanus again for other rooms in my house.

Excellent Mount

At first glance this seemed to be very complicated and my first instinct was to call someone else to install as soon as I opened up the box. It came with a DVD video on installation which made installation a whole lot easier.

Watch the short video 2-3 times first. You'll need a few basic tools such as a drill, drill bit, level, stud finder, socket set, and pencil. Installation was about 1 hour from start to finish with tools in hand.

It is a sturdy - well thought out design and I would definitely by this product again.

Sturdy Well Built Design

Mounting on brick fireplace. Could not find specific info about drilling into brick fireplace to mount.Did not want to crack brick.
Went to home depot & rented hammer drill w/ 1/2" bit
Measured using holes in brick to determine hole placement. No problem drilling into brick. Fasteners worked good. Mounted nicely.Pretty easy with right tools.

GOOD choice

This wall mount was exactly what I expected. Very sturdy and easy to mount. Used three of these to mount three 50 inch TVs.

A very good product.

Very easy to install..Solid and sturdy...The only difficulty I had was reaching the knobs to tighten the tilting mechanism with the TV on the mount...
This can be solved by tightening the tilt before hanging the TV on the wall mount....Very happy with this product and will buy another for my next flatscreen....

A Monkey could do it...

Varily easy to install. It took less than an hour. I was able to attach my TV with ease. I would recommend this product.

Easy to install

The build quality is very good. Everything seems solid. We mounted this above the fireplace on a wall that is slightly warped. This proved to make things quite difficult. It can be very difficult to get this unit level. What we ended up doing was taking one of the screws that came with the mount, and wedged it under the hook on one side of the unit (the hook is what is screwed onto the TV and hangs from the wall mount). Everything was level after that :).

Solid Product

There is nothing really wrong with this product.

I purchased it after ordering a much less expensive wall mount online and the shipping was delayed. I needed to get the TV up in time for the Superbowl, so I bit the bullet and spent $115 for this mount.

This mount worked fine. Installation was easy and the mount seems relatively sturdy. The only things I really didn't like were the tilt adjust which seemed too loose and the spring clips which made the TV harder to remove than if the bottom just screwed into place. No biggie.

After the game, my mount came in from the online retailer. I spent just over $20 on the mount I ordered online and it was much sturdier in construction. I ended up returning the Sanus and keeping the $20 mount.

Save your money.

There were no written directions. Only pictures that were not accurate. What a joke.
