Nice Radio This product really exceeded my expectations. It's comparable to the Logitech Squeezebox, but it's about half the price. The wireless setup was relatively easy.I have three complaints, both relatively minor:1. Although it uses regular or rechargeable batteries, it cannot recharge them.2. When playing single channel music files, it would only play them on the left speaker. I called the vendor and they said this is by design. I have many single channel books-on-cd and it would be nice to hear them play evenly across both speakers.3. The FM tuner doesn't receive local stations as well as a regular radio tuner. The bright side is that most of these stations are available thru the internet, and thus they can still be played thru this unit. 03/06/2010
EXCELLENT QUALITY! Teriffic audio quality from the built-in speakers...enough "oomph" to use it outside on our screen porch and hear the stations halfway across the back yard!Easy setup, recognized my home network, pc's, wifi, etc immediately. Onscreen menu allows easy searching for stations, genre, locations (country-state, etc)...plus the Vtech website lets me find other stations and immediately export the URL etc to the Vtech's 'favorites'. Not complicated at all.My wife and I now listen to online stations with the Vtech more hours than we watch the TV anymore! We set it on top of our Blu Ray player, connect it to the home stereo so we can use our existing speakers while using the Vtech in the living room...and crank it up and can hear all the talk radio & music we want....24-7...and don't have to turn the computer on anymore!The only drawback is that it won't play stations that stream with a custom player...for example, you can't get any Live365 streams on it. But other than that....I'd recommend it to everyone! The fact that it connects directly to your home wifi means no more having to have a computer running all the time anymore....just turn it on, it's a radio!!!!I'll leave by saying the Vtech was extremely well-built...the radio is as nicely finished as a Hasselblad EL or a Swiss Bolex....nice shiny black top, well-fitting parts, hefty buttons. Great wifi radio I liked the product very much. It is simple to use. One can search and save different online radio channels and save them as favorites. This can be done on the radio itself or through online account (which is lot easier). Sound quality is good w/ lot of bass (I wish to control the bass but there is none). I also liked its sleek design. One can put batteries in it to take along. This also have FM tuner. The 1st one that we bought had wifi issues. It was not working. We returned that to Walmart and got another one. This time there were no issues w/ the unit. 10/30/2011
