Your child will have loads of fun with the VTech Spin 'n Learn Teaching Toy Top and its friendly characters. This baby spinning top features four modes of play animal mode, musical mode, silly sounds mode, and number mode. You can press the top button and watch the characters spin around. For each character to give a new response including numbers and silly sounds you just have to press the number buttons. The dancing lights and interactive responses will develop the fine motor skills of your baby and encourage him/her to play and learn. To change the mode of play, the top needs to be pressed. While the top spins, the four LED buttons light up to create a magical pattern. This baby learning toy requires just 2 AA batteries to function.

She'd pick up the whole thing and throw it against something or back onto the floor :) lol but she never would sit down long enough to actually play with it... If you're little one is a more adventurous person and doesn't like to stay in one place this toy might be a little boring for them! 02/17/2009

And it would be great - if it had continued working longer than 1 week. I tried several brands of new batteries - I even took the entire thing apart.I see other people complaining about this same thing. Now I'm not sure if I should buy another one since she loved it so much, or buy a better brand of a similar item!!Don't waste your money. 02/12/2009
