This baby spinning top features four modes of play  animal mode, musical mode, silly sounds mode, and number mode. You can press the top button and watch the characters spin around. For each character to give a new response including numbers and silly sounds you just have to press the number buttons. The dancing lights and interactive responses will develop the fine motor skills of your baby and encourage him/her to play and learn. To change the mode of play, the top needs to be pressed. While the top spins, the four LED buttons light up to create a magical pattern. This baby learning toy requires just 2 AA batteries to function.

    Annoying and Overstimulating We were given this toy as a present for our 9 1/2 month old. While he is drawn to the fact that it makes noises whenever he presses a button, it is a terrible toy. He presses buttons for a while, but no one could tell me that he's learning anything from it--he already knew how to press buttons before he got it. It's overstimulating to our son, and as a parent, it is terribly annoying to listen to. The bear sound is especially awful. Plus that, even if my child did learn how to do what it commanded, it doesn't give appropriate feedback if you do what it says. For example, it will say "Spin to the music!" and if you start spinning it, the music will stop and it will go to another activity. Also it will say, "Where's the lion" and half the time if you hit the lion, it will just ask where another animal is instead of acknowledging that you found the right animal. We're giving this toy to goodwill this week. 05/06/2009
    Great Developmental Toy I think this toy was great in so many ways! First the durability is amazing...I have an almost 2 yr old and a 4 yr old and throwing things has been an issue...this toy has toughed the test of abuse without a doubt! Second...this is great for hand an eye coordination and it teaches your child to find things by identifying them with sight and sound. I think it is a wonderful toy and like any other interactive toy for a small child that usually means that the parents should be intereactive as well...your child learns not just by placing a toy in front of them (which seems foreign to them) but the interaction the parent takes with that child and toy! You get what you put into it....we love this item and would recommend it to anyone who loves spending that quality time with their child...you can make up games with this toy! It is great! 11/21/2009
    poor,poor my mom bought this toy for my six month old he was very happy about it until we got home and it stopped working. my sister tried to see maybe the batteries are dead for some reason but it wasn't that.I cant believe the toy stopped working the same day my mom bought it. 11/11/2008
