VIZIO 42" Class LCD 1080p 60Hz HDTV, E421VO 4.2 5 112 133
This was a great TV for the first three months we had it. We bought it Dec 8, 2011. Worked fairly well right out of the box. As of yesterday though, TV won't turn on. It has power going to it, as evidenced by the VIZIO logo being lit in amber. Tried calling VIZIO customer service and was on hold for 20+ minutes trying to speak to a human being. Used the "chat support" with VIZIO today and was told that the BEST they could do is try to get a tech out to my home in a week or two. Totally unacceptable. Will be calling my WM store tonight to see what they can do for me. In doing some digging online, I've found I'm far from the only person who has had this TV malfunction soon after purchase. 03/13/2012
Stopped working in 30 days I will never purchase another Vizio product. The picture quality in HD was subpar, which I didn't worry about too much because of the low price. Then the tv stopped turning on after 30 days. The Vizio customer service rep told me my only option was their "Advantage Replacement" program, in which they charge you for a new television, ship another one out to you, and only refund you the charge after you ship back the malfunctioning one. For me, this is unacceptable treatment for purchasing a defective product. 03/12/2012
Not Sure Yet Bought this 3 weeks ago......One day, just wouldn't turn on.....was past 2 week time to exchange at Wal-Mart, so VIZIO is sending repair tech to my house.....We'll have to wait and see ....It is a beautiful picture and all...when it was working... 03/12/2012
Only lasted two months. After two months of use, the tv died. Now I have to hassle with warranty, etc. I'm sorry, a tv should last more than two months. It was nice while it lasted, but I would never recommend this brand. Hoping I can just get a full refund & buy a better brand. 03/07/2012
