With its sophisticated design and slim profile, this TV sound bar makes for an attractive addition to a 32" or larger television. This sound bar speaker features integrated front and center channels and also packs SRS WOW HD audio enhancement technology. This adds exceptional clarity and definition to the sound of your music and movies. Each channel on the TV sound bar has two full-range drivers, and the speaker has a maximum volume of 86 dB and a frequency response of 90Hz to 19.5kHz. A hand-held controller lets you choose the volume remotely. Installing the Vizio 32" Sound Bar is easy; it simply requires being plugged into your TV. You have the option of placing the TV sound bar on a table or mounting it on the wall. Wall-mount brackets are included with the speaker for those who choose this option.

This remote control has just 3 actions: on/off, volume, and mute. Perfect for seniors. And it lets sound come from the front of the TV, like the old TVs that were easy to hear. 01/06/2013
    Rated 3 out of 5 by Good sound, but needs separate remote I recently replaced an old CRT TV with a Vizio E390-A1 39". I loved the picture on the new TV but the sound was very tinny, which really bothered me. I was looking for an inexpensive way to improve the sound quality. I was not trying to achieve home-theater sound; I was just trying find something that would sound as good as the old TV.I chose this soundbar because it was inexpensive, and in stock at my local Walmart, so I could return it if I didn't like it. It sounded pretty good, so I decided to keep it. I keep the SRS on; it provides a bit more bass boost and makes the sound even better. The sound quality of the soundbar still leaves something to be desired, but it is a huge improvement over the Vizio TV.My biggest complaint about this soundbar is that you really need to use its remote, even if you control the volume through your TV. That is because the soundbar automatically powers itself off after several minutes of inactivity. So if you turn the TV back on after the soundbar powered down, there won't be any sound until you turn the soundbar back on.The remote controls supplied by Comcast and DirectTV are capable of controlling this soundbar, but they cannot power up the cable box, the TV, and the soundbar all with one button press, which is what I wanted to do. To solve this problem, I wound up buying a used Logitech Harmony 200 on eBay. With that remote, I am able to power on (or off) my TV, cable box, and soundbar all with one button push. 01/05/2013
