  • A. My husband loves TV's and I mean large TV's we have a large 42" flat screen on the wall Plasma in our living room from when they first came out. So, last year when the prices started coming down I got him one of these except in a 42" size in the bedroom and it is quite large but I grew to love it as much as he does. Now I don't happen to like it as much during commericals when the volume goes up really loud, but I live with it or turn it off if I it wakes me up. You can get use to anything good in life lol. However, sleep is always healthier and my bedroom is just a little bit larger.

  • A. As I live in a small apartment, this is my only T.V. which is in my living room, but definately would be ideal for a bedroom, providing you view it 'straight-on'. The picture goes out of focus if viewed from an angle.

  • A. Go for it you can't go wrong with this set. My wife was not a big fan of the 22" until I put it in. We have ours connected to cable and it picks up great. Once you run the scan you are good to go. The picture is sharp and bright. I replaced a 19" TV with this one and it made a big difference. My wife didn't want to go any bigger for our room but once we did she is now glad we did.

Perfect for the bedroom

After 6 years, our Sanyo, 32-inch tube tv went out so we had to break down and buy a new tv. I really didn't want to since money's tight right now, but I'm an insomniac & can't fall asleep without the tv on. I researched just about every major retailer & came across this one. Based on the reviews, price & size, I sent my husband out to the local store. I'm so happy I did! Our bedroom is fairly small, so this size is absolutely perfect to sit on our dresser. It literally took about 5-minutes to hook up & that includes programming the cable remote to operate it. If you're like me & need a visual - think of it as a large flat-screen computer monitor. The picture is really crisp, the sound is fine (might be a little low for a living room, but again, just fine for a bedroom). Do your research and compare sets based on your needs, but I feel totally comfortable recommending this set to anyone looking for a new one.

Best value for 22" TV

All I can say is WOW. Picture is amazing. For the other reviewers discussing HD, please know that you can receive HD for free with an antenna. I have both of my TVs hooked up to indoor antennas and get all available channels beautifully. Now I have the best set-up possible! Free reception and awesome screens. The Vizio is in my bedroom and is the perfect size. My room is what I call average size, so if you have a larger room you will want the 26". I researched and priced TVs until I was satisfied I was getting the most bang for my buck. You cannot do better than this one - especially if it is marked down again due to a newer 22" model being available. I know it is at other stores so Walmart won't be far behind. Only drawback (if it's important to you) is that the on-screen channel display info is really tiny. Other than that, the TV, remote and features are just fine.

I was hesitant to buy this brand, in spite of having heard a lot of good things about the brand. A few days later I can say that the only downside to this TV is the lack of audio-out jacks (other than SPDIF). My DVD player does not support SPDIF, RCA jacks. The picture is outstanding for the price. I will not be hesitant about buying a Vizio again. Every pixel works the way it should. Yes, this TV is HD just like “mskbelle” stated and a HD signal does look great. SD may look stretched, but you can read the manual and set the TV to Normal which should fix that issue. Most cable companies do provide local channels in HD at no extra charge, just scan for channels, I found ten free HD channels. Be sure to buy the extended warranty from WalMart when you buy any electronics over $150.00. It covers a lot of things not covered by Vizio’s warranty.

Great TV

I bought this TV for my bedroom which is tiny but the TV looks great in it. The main reason I bought it was because I got a PS3 and the picture wasn't too good on my old 17 inch TV, one of those old big heavy ones. The best thing about this TV is that its very light, great picture, and small enough to have my DVR sit underneath the TV, The bad this about the TV is that it only has 1 HDMI cable on it so when I wanna play my PS3 I have to unhook the cable from my DVR and hook it up to the PS3. Oh and make sure when you buy this TV and you look at the box before buying it, because when I bought my 1st one it was a refurbished one and I was never notified and got it home and hooked it up and it didn't work at all so I had to go take it back and get a different one.
