Rated 1 out of 5 by BiPolar4u Short Service Life I purchased the Vivitar Battery Charger and two rechargeable batteries to power the Trac Pad on my computer. Prior to that I had been using Alkaline batteries which lasted about a month...maybe a little more. Naturally, I thought this would be a sensible solution to the problem of having to discard old batteries and purchase new ones every month. All I have to do now is recharge them...or so I thought.I was not prepared to find out the new rechargeable batteries only last about a week. Then they have to be re-charged. Keep this in mind if you're going to use them as I did. As far as I'm concerned it was a waste of time and money. 03/28/2013
