From a parents view, disappointing content Your children will undoubtably love this game, much as mine do. However, I found the rating and the content disappointing. My daughter purchased this for herself with her birthday money. It is rated "E", but I don't quite agree with that rating.The whole point of the game is the pinatas go in the house and "romance" (the house jumps up and down while this is happening) and then they come out of the house and an egg is delivered and a baby pinata pops out of the egg. After two pinatas "romance", they cannot "romance" with that same pinata again. They must find a different pinata to go in the house and "romance" with.Personally, I think they could've come up with a better objective for this game. 11/20/2008
Totally random, totally fun What a weird concept for a game - you manage a garden of various pinatas...interesting. Yet, it's really fun. I bought this one after hearing a review about it, and it is a great game to pick up and play for even just a short amount of time. You design your garden, meet certain demands, and acquire new pinatas. I like the challenge of how each pinata has a certain set of needs, so there is some strategy involved. The game helps to tutor you along the way, making the game easier to figure out. This one was a pleasant surprise and I think fun for all ages. 02/12/2009
Warning: inappropriate rating Warning: Despite this games "E" rating, it is not "for everyone." I'm not saying this game is bad, but it certainly shouldn't have been given the family friendly rating. Each parent has to judge what they feel is appropriate or not for their children. I bought this game for my 7 year old because she enjoys watching the Viva Pinata TV program. Pinatas, never the same two, enter a house for "romancing" - while the narration encourages the gamer to "watch"- the house bounces up and down, resulting in the delivery of a new pinata. As if that were not enough to warrant a higher rating, later levels of the game also require some pinatas to beat each other and eat their candy insides.Yes, the game may be fun and perfectly okay for some, but the rating should reflect the content, especially for something linked to a popular children's program!!! 12/29/2009
Fun and popular game I ordered this for my 9 yr old daughter and she loves it. She says if you are an animal lover, you'll love this game. It's hours of fun. 10/15/2008
