This is an android tablet, and it enables him to do everything he used to do on my phone. It seems very durable. The battery life is OK. By no means is this like my iPad. The GetJar marketplace doesn't offer very many apps, either. But if you want a nice tablet for surfing the web and doing the basics like email and games, etc. This is it! 12/31/2012
