The Vision Max Full Spectrum Desk Lamp is just what you need for reading or doing any intricate desk work. This adjustable desk lamp features a compact design with a small base and fits well in any cramped up desktop space. Being light weight, it is very portable and can be carried around and set up anywhere. Made of a good plastic construction, this black desk lamp is durable and will last for a long time. It has a smooth black finish and can complement the decor of any room or office. This 13 watt desk lamp comes with a full spectrum PL fluorescent bulb, which brightly illuminates a wide area. It can be bent to give light to any direction and provide adequate lighting even for a photo shoot. This adjustable desk lamp does not have an on/off switch, but switches on when raised and goes off when closed down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by billyjobob Replaced more expensive version This lamp puts out good reading light. I use it for a night stand to read by at night. I had a more expensive brand that broke, and this one seems to be just as good for about 1/3 the price. Nothing fancy, not especially great-looking, but quite effective. Only has one brightness, though, so you really cannot turn it down if that is a concern. 01/22/2013

The only improvement I can see is to add an on-off switch so I don't need to adjust the lamp every time I "turn it on". I am happy about this purchase. 12/21/2012

How the lamp turns automatically turns on/off when opening/closing the lamp is super convenient. 09/13/2012

This is lightweight, I can position it anywhere because it's not heavy or bulky. I use it, close it and it turns off. It's great for what I needed it for. The flash on my camera doesn't go off, and this acts as natural light. Perfect! 08/02/2012
