vino table I was excited to purchase this table after looking at it online for nearly a year. It arrived undamaged but puzzling to put together. The wordless diagram only instructions show you sort-of how to put this three piece unit together. I am a pro at assembling all sorts of items but the instructions fail to tell you to remove a plastic cap on the hydraulic component before final assembly. At first glance, polished 'chrome-like' table seems solid. It has proven to be somewhat unstable on a carpet. The lift mechanism is cheaply made and hard to use. The table top itself is very nice but will definitely scratch. Overall, you get what you pay for and this table's adjustability is its selling point. I still would recommend it. 08/31/2009
Ideal Table This is a very well made table. Easy to assemble, hex wrench included, and very stable. Although WalMart had the lowest price I could find on the Internet, I still thought the table was overpriced, ($139.88.) If I could afford it I'd buy a second one, I think that much of it. It adjusts from 25.75" to 40" in a very smooth hydro motion. The top appears to be smooth stainless steel designed in polished circular mosaics, very attractive. I've had several "that's beautiful" comments. The top is attached to the vertical pedestal with 4 hex head bolts, this assembly fits snugly into the base allowing you to both lift the table by its top with the base remaining attached or rotate the top&pedestal assembly 360 degrees while the base remains fixed. Very well designed. I've emailed the WalMart URL for this table, by request, to a number friends. 10/30/2007
