The professional stethoscope included in the kit is detached. The black adult D-ring arm cuff of the Veridian blood pressure monitor is easy to strap around and the detachable professional stethoscope helps you monitor heart beats too. The material of the cuff is cotton and a large adult replacement cuff is also available. This cuff fits arms with up to a circumference of 10" x 14". This Veridian Health Manual Blood Pressure Monitor is latex-free and comes in retail packaging. The stethoscope, cuff, gauge and the inflation bulb come neatly placed in the zippered case along with a reading log and a guidebook with detailed instructions in English and Spanish.

This might be a Toy!! Purchased this for a basic nursing coarse I took. Cheaply made. Cannot hear anything if there's noise about you. This may pass as a toy kit!!! I'm returning it. Purchased a better made one thru Walgreens. 07/21/2011
Was Not Able To Tell How To Read The Monitor Did not find using the high blood pressure to work for me. I thought the blood pressure suppose to automatically stop at a certain number, but it did not. I could go up to 300 which made it worse. Even when I inflate the bulb to 120-180, I still was confused altogether.So, therefore, I was confused about how to use the blood pressure monitor to get a reading. I never heard a thump to read the first number. I could not tell where I last heard a sound to get the second reading. The cuff kept on unsnapping loose at certain arm positions. 02/14/2011
