it can hold two bikes it just depends if you lock it to something it maybe difficult. I have used it to lock 2bikes together only.

I Googled "Ventura u-lock" and other sites showing the same identical pict says it measures 180mm x 245mm x 13mm shackle (7"x9.6"x1/2"). However, it doesn't say whether these are outside dimensions or inside dimensions. I'm guessing it's outer; deducting the ½"-wide shackle, that's 6½ inches wide by 9 inches tall inner dimensions with the lock closed. 9 inches should be enough to secure at least the front or rear tires of 2 bikes, but I'd play it safe and add a 6-foot cable lock attached to this u-lock.

If you're looking to lock the bikes to each other yes. If your looking to secure two bikes to something else then no. It's pretty small. In fact I use the lock to secure the front wheel to the frame then I use another lock to secure it to the bike rack. You could get away with using the lock by itself but it would have to be a bike rack with thin bars and you'd have to get your bike frame really close to the bar.

I just hook it to the bar in the front of the bike.

U-locks are best for securing the bike's frame to a permanent fixture that can't be cut with a standard bolt cutter. If you have quick-release seat adjustment or wheels with quick release, it's advisable to add a 6-foot (or longer) cable lock to go with this U-lock. City thieves will steal accessories that easily comes off with quick-release and sell them cheap to fund their drug/alcohol substance problems.

i can use it i only have limited use of one arm

I wanted a classic U-shaped bike lock at a good price. Bike stores have started selling more expensive, more complicated models. I like this one so far. It does the job and it still has a "tubular"-shaped key--which other manufacturers seem to be discontueing. I like the dust cap that closes over the lock cylinder too.
I can't rate its durability yet, since I've only had it a few weeks, but so far, so good.--B2

I PERSONALLY LIKE CABLE LOCKS BECAUSE THE RAGE OF CABLE LOCKS ARE NOT LIMITED. YOU CAN PRETTY MUCH LOCK YOUR BIKE ANYWHERE NO MATTER HOW FAR IS THE DISTANCE BETWEEN YOUR BIKE AND THE OBJECT YOU ARE LOCKING YOUR BIKE TO. HOWEVER... THIS IS A VERYYYY HEAVY DUTY LOCK, IT DOES NOTTTT FEEL CHEAP. THE VALUE YOU GET FOR THE PRICE IS AMAZING. I DONT THINK ANYONE CAN CUT THIS LOCK. BUT LIKE I SAID, THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE FLEXIBILITY

Ordered on-line, but returned it because:

>found a Bell all-metal U-lock in-store for less money

Don't know how well it protects because returned without using.

Buyer beware of ALL u-locks with the tubular keys. They can easily be picked using nothing but a simple bic pen.

Don't use this lock if you want to keep your bike!

All it took was a hand hammer to brake this lock. Buy a better lock if you want to keep your bike.

A robber broke this lock and stole my bicycle

bad product design, the plastic housing bracket broke during the first week. the bracket is attached to the bike and lock. the part that broke was the plastic holder on the bike side.
