Unless you have a tea cup size dog he will not fit and will be uncomfortable. what is the weight of your dog?

its spelled Chihuahua. I know this because I had to learn how to spell it when I got one. Yes it will fit if they are 7lbs or less. I suggest using a basket liner and some small padding in the bottom, not only for comfort but so if they put a paw up against the wall they don&#39;t get a claw stuck in the hole. if you want your dog to ride in a luxury size basket get the wald 157 ( Walmart.com has it ) both my Chihuahuas fit in it with room to lie down and room to spare. that&#39;s 18lbs of Chihuahua total. good luck

ya, as with any bike basket and wires you just have to move the wires around it.

as with any bike basket going on a bike that has hand brakes and shifters you just have to carefully move the wires behind and around the basket. its fine

Will the ventura easy mount mess basket work on a 26" woman's mountain bike with the wires and all?

yes it fits that model as well as mens model of the same bike

Yes it will... says it fits most but, you have to kinda play with it on some bikes especially if your handle bar bolt is on the front of bike.  It&#39;s just a matter of loosening the bolt and tilting the bars to get the hooks over the bar, then tighten all back up.  Also the hang hooks on it can be bent around bars with, PROPER tools, very easily for a secure fit.

Very pleased with the basket. Sturdy as it fits over the handledbars instead of being connected to the frame. With that design, you don't have to worry as much about the weight of what you put in it. It was a tight fit for our bikes as we have beach cruisers that have thick handles but worked just fine. The handle is removable which is a nice option.

Great product for the price

I shopped all around and this basket is perfect for taking my poodles for a bike ride. Very durable and good price. I took some ties to secure the basket to the bike because I don't have the need to remove the basket. Glad I made the purchase. I saw this same basket at a bicycle shop and they wanted twice the money

I wanted a basket for my dog to be able to ride with me. This is perfect. He's under 10lbs. I used many zip ties to reinforce the basket in place. Just want I wanted it for! Great price!

I got this ($13.74 in June 2016) basket for my handle bars and for my rear carrier because the steel folding grid style basket I had kept falling apart at the weak hinges.
It stacks nicely -  I have three I carry empty on the handle bars when going to the store.  My son liked it so well he got two. I have put about 50 lbs of groceries in the two on my carrier and 20 lbs in the handle bar basket. We have  E-bikes. The design allows you to secure it with a cable when parking. I prefer WM to Amazon because I can leave the packaging at the store and if it isn't what I want, returns are at the store, and are easy.

I love this basket - no screws, no fuss, no muss. I have a beach cruiser, it fit the handle bars like magic, and combined with my light set up, no problem. Definitely worthwhile!

Excellent Product

I just got my first beautiful cruiser from Walmart online and found this basket on their online store too. It was nicer than I expected. It is a large basket that just slips on and removes just as easy. I rode to the post office with all my parcels in the basket. When I got there, I just slide the basket off and use it to carry my items. It is the easiest I have ever seen.
