Vellux, Ooh La La I have used Vellux blankets for years and I absolutely love them. Need extra warmth? Put an extra one on the bed. Not so much warmth? Only use one. They are soft to the touch, light in weight, and they are generously cut, so there is no tug of war for the covers at night. I do recommend, as with all fabrics, that you wash before you use them. There is a chemical smell to them when you unpack them. Be sure to clean your lint filter well. After the first washing, you should not experience any linting which probably comes from the cut edges. These blankets are the same as ones I've purchased at department stores at twice the price or more. They hold up for years and years. Sleep tight! 03/23/2010
