About this item
"Twas The Night Before Easter": It's Easter as usual in Crisper Country and Marlee Meade (Petunia Rhubarb) is tired of reporting the same old stories of missing chickens and hopping bunnies. As a reporter for Access 3 news, Petunia wishes she could make more of a difference with her life by helping people. As she and Louis (Larry the Cucumber) head to their next assignment, they run across Prescott E. Huddlecoat (Archibald Asparagus), the owner of the old Crisper County Theater. When Marlee hears that Mr. Huddlecoat is planning on shutting the old place down, she gets a wild idea to save the theater by staging a huge Easter production. "God Loves You Very Much": The Veggie Kids have a question for Larry - how can we know that God loves us? In a colorful tale told with story and song, Larry paints a picture of how much God loves us all - even when "we dirty up our clothes, or forget to blow our nose, or don't listen to our Dads!" In the end, the kids learn that God loves us no matter what.
