Rated 1 out of 5 by OnlineWalmartShopper2012 It doesn't work for me I have two Fantom drives that are both usb2.0 and esata which I have used with my older esata computer via the esata connections. Now that I have a newer computer with usb 3.0, I wanted to be able to access my esata drives at esata speed instead of usb 2.0 speed. Unfortunately the adapter didn't work with either of my esata drives. I can still use the drives via the usb 2.0 connections, but when I try to connect as per the included instructions via the esata connection using this adapter, my computer does not recognize either drive. Btw, I have newer external usb 3.0 drives that work well (extemely fast!), yet this adapter does not allow me to use my computer's usb 3.0 speed to access my esata hdd. 12/06/2012
