Excellent! I was wary of purchasing this online. I've seen this same model on "other sites" for a MUCH higher price (Around $400-500) I was glad to find it on Walmart.com. It was out of stock for a long time, but I signed up for an email alert to email me when it was available again. The minute the alert came a few weeks later, I logged on a purchased it. As I am writing this now, it is out of stock again! Just sign up for the alert, and bide your time until it is restocked!It came in a timely manner, VERY nicely packaged and VERY secure. It had LOTS of styrofoam protection. It's a HEAVY package, obviously.I think shipping was about $49 or so. Not too bad. I could have gotten it shipped SITE TO STORE, but recently I've had some items come in damaged from that particular shipping option. Shipping directly to my home seemed safer for this item. Especially since a mirror was involved.I put this together myself (a 33 year old woman with children afoot). It came with all the needed directions, parts and pieces. The only item I needed was a phillips screwdriver--but that was only for one portion of the assembly. The majority of the assembly, I used the provided Allen Wrench.The ONLY assembly needed for this item is attaching the legs to the stool, attaching the legs to the actual vanity and attaching the mirror. Oh, and the knobs on the drawers are backwards, you must switch them around. The Q&A for this item is NOT TRUE. Everything is put together and assembled except the LEGS AND MIRROR. The drawers are already in place when it is shipped. As mentioned, the knobs must be turned around.IT IS NOT A HARD ASSEMBLY AT ALL. Very easy. Quick. It took me maybe 30-45 minutes? With 2 people, or a nimble husband on the job--it can be even faster.The black finish is very nice. It is BLACK. I wouldn't consider it "antiqued black" at all. There were NO dents, scratches, or warps on any portion of this vanity. The corners were even perfect.The drawers are not very deep, but are very long. The middle drawer is the best feature! The mirror is very nice, and is true to life. It is not warped or cheap looking. I love the tri-fold feature. I leave it open all the time though. The mirror attaches securely.The ONLY problem I encountered was when I was securing the "cross bars" to the legs of the stool. There were not any predrilled holes. This is the only step that calls for a phillps head screwdriver. An electric screwdriver solved this problem quickly though.Even if you do not screw in the cross bars to the legs, the stool is still stable and nice. I wouldn't even consider this a big deal, but to some it may be a nuisance.This is definitely a HIGH QUALITY item, for a very good price.I cannot recommend this item enough! It's fabulous! 02/19/2011
Nice but..... Ok so before I go on let me tell you that I am a hard nut to crack. I do like nice things and I feel if I'm gonna pay a lot of money for anything I better get what I am paying for... For the most part this vanity is very classy it has great potential. Here is a list of pros and cons I have noticed since Ive had it about a month now...Pros::Its black, sleek and classy.No crazy details, very modernIt comes w/a tri-fold mirror and a cute vanity stoolwasn't very hard to put togethershipping site to store waiting period was reasonableCute fit for tight or small spacesCons::Site to store ((not always a good thing)) it came damaged a bit on the back on both the left and right ends.It was smaller then I thought it beThe drawers are pretty small but long.Note:: but something down on the stool if you are using this vanity for makeup and or hair, so that you wont get it dirty. Absolutely Fabulous! I am so pleased with this item. I requested to be emailed when one became available and when I got the notification I bought it right away (I am glad I did because now they are sold out again) Anyway, I went to the store and they loaded up it for me, I got it home and put it together. It was super easy and didn't take me long. It is sturdy, well made and an excellent price as I did my research. It is so beautiful and I am very very pleased. 02/19/2011
I loved this vanity set!! It is very sturdy, is solid black(which is what I wanted) and well made. I had someone help me with attaching the legs and mirror on the vanity and we were done in 10 minutes. The bench I put together by myself in about 10 minutes. I purchased this set based off the reviews and am completely satisfied. Great buy, and did site to store to save shipping charges. The box was to large for a car and a little heavy for one person to carry. 07/18/2011
