Rated 2 out of 5 by MomBear1 Advertising on box is misleading The advertising on the box says that the doll says "Mama" and talks about feelings and this & that. The doll only says one phrase & then does about two songs. That's it. I've never heard it say "Mama" once & that was the reason I bought it because I thought it was going to say basic words like "Mama" & Dada". Baby does like it though. But I'm not happy about the false description on the box. 10/17/2012
Rated 2 out of 5 My son loves it but.... My son loves this toy, but it has a very SHORT lifespan. We got one a few weeks ago as a gift, and it lasted about two weeks before the ear button stopped working. Since we hadn't had it very long, I returned and exchanged it, and bought another one since he loved it so much so we could have one to stay in the car too. Here we are again three weeks later, the ear button has stopped working on one of them. I have a hard time accepting that this is expected performance of this toy! My son is a little over a year old and the toy stays in his crib… He is not hard on it! I guess we will be looking for something else to help him sleep, back to the glowworm! What a waste of time and money! 04/04/2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Madhoneybee Doesn't last very long I have 2 of these at home and I only have 2 because my son really loves this thing and because they have now BOTH quit working. I got one of these from a family member for my son on Christmas day and it still works if you switch the on/off button on the head, but the ear-press button does not work at all. I recently bought a new one (2/25/13) when my son started daycare because I figured it would be easier/less time consuming for the daycare workers to press the button instead of flipping the switch. Well, needless to say the one I bought 2/25/13 has also quit working in the ear-press button- it didn't even make it to its first battery change!! I also agree with the other reviewer that the box mentions talking about feelings and says "mama". I heard it say in ONE song "I FEEL loved, when we snuggle", but it never says anything about other feelings and it never says mama. Based on how long this thing has lasted and on how it doesn't work like it should, I am going to see if I can complain to the manufacturers. My son loves this thing and won't sleep without it, but I cannot keep spending $20 every couple of weeks for something that claims to have a 1 year warranty. I want my money back! 03/17/2013
