Yes. You will have to purchase game software, and you can download games from a website. you will receive and be able to choose the first three downloadable games free of charge..after that the downloads are priced around $2.99

You can also download some free games and buy others. The problem with that is that you need to be cannected to the internet to play the. When you disconnect from the internet, the games you have downloaded return to the Vtech site. You have to connect to the internet again to get the games back. The Mobigo (Not the Mobigo2) has a game storage storage you can buy (It is not compatible with Mobigo2. the storage cassette can hold up to 50 games and you do not need to be connected to internet to play them. Wish they would make the storage cassette for the Mobigo2.

The only real difference from the Mobigo and MobiGo2 is the enhanced touch screen and the stylus pen that comes standard. Mobigo games work with this too! This was for my son for Christmas and 4 days post and we have yet to change the batteries with about 2 hours sporadic play per day, with a long car trip included!

Great upgrade from the Mobi-go

Although it is a Christmas gift for my grandson, he has played with it elsewhere and absolutely loves it. It stimulates his mind and the fact that it has so many extra games that may be purchased separately, is a wonderful thing.

After researching about learning and playing systems for kids we decided to purchase the MobiGo 2 and we are very happy we did so. We liked the fact that our kids can learn while playing, the games are well thought and depending by the cartridge in use, they teach thinking skills, numbers, letter recognition or word spelling. We are using it with Cars 2 and Disney Princess cartridges and even after 7 months of purchase, the games never get old.

Games give scores depending by how well the kid is playing, making it rewarding when they get high scores. Parents can check online the progress of their kids which adds up to the usefulness of this item.

A must have for any family with kids!

Great learning and playing System!

I bought the VTech MobiGo 2 Touch Learning System for my 3 year old grandson for Christmas. He loves it. He started playing with it immediately after opening it. He loves playing games on my son's cell phone so this was the perfect gift for him.

I purchased the VTech MobiGo 2 Learning System for my great-grandson's second birthday.
He loves it. He can do matching puzzles and he recognizes numbers and some letters.
It challenges him and also entertains him.

We are still learning how to use our Mobigo2. We love being able to download games at anytime . Excellent as an educational tool and I can also check his progress online.

Great learning tool for my seven year old nephew.

I got the MobiGo2 for my son 3rd Birthday. He loves it. He open all his gifts, but this one
he has NOT put down, unless he has to. It has been 3 day now and he has been playing with it all day. I'm happy because nothing has kept his attention like the MobiGo2.

Happy I got this toy!!!

My son just turned 2 yr old when he recieved this toy. It does seem a little advanced for him, but it seems like he's getting the hang of it. Only time will tell. He does like that he can color with either the pen or his finger.

Haven't had time to really get into this product but my son loves it. He is 3 and has some trouble with it but it will grow with him which is what I wanted.

Good Little game for price

I replaced 2 games so far and now a 3rd because the game shuts in and off. The battery icon shows up even after putting new batteries in the game. Terrible, I wouldn't recommend this game.
