    Good TV for the price, features are ok, picture quality ok, easy to setup, I don't like the automatic features (I turned all of them off), excellent sound quality, in general I like the tv.

    Very happy with this purchase. Picture quality is good, so much better than my old projection TV. Out of the box you will need to tweak the picture settings. Controls are straight forward. Did not use a Calibration kit. On line found some suggested settings in a review, those were very good. But I started adjusting on my own and made even better. Football looks good. Regular TV looks good. Features are mainly around apps. But does have DLNA which allows it to take media from my home network. Hooked my laptop up via HDMI and my pictures look great on a 65" screen. Wifi had difficulty getting an IP, I think from weak signal in that part of the house. Installed a WiFi extender from Belkin. Once set up TV Wifi has been solid. Played a few YouTube clips to check out and they were fine. Only negative was from one of my credit card companies. They though making a $1300.00 purchase from Wall Mart was fraud, and would not approve transaction. So I just used another one just fine.

    I have a 55" Samsung in the main living area but I wanted an even larger TV for basement den. I wasn't expecting it to be of the same quality of the Samsung and its not. It is, however, a great value when you want a very large TV but need to keep in your budget. Speed: Some of the other reviews mentioned that it is slow. It does take a long time to warm up and it is even slower when you change between functions (such as between TV and Youtube). It isn't terrible and I've gotten used to it. Picture Quality: I was disappointed at first because the picture was dark and lacked the definition of Samsung. I changed the setting to "vivid" and now it is a lot better. If I had not found this setting I would have probably returned it. Now I'm okay with it. Sound: The sound is actually better than I was expecting. At this point I am still just using the TV speakers without a surround system. The TV is called "ultra-slim" but it is not nearly as slim as the higher brands. This may be the reason why the sound is better. For how I'm using it I would definitely buy it again.

    After I had the Vizio 65 in. TV for a few days, I noticed that the volume would not come back on when I muted the TV to answer the phone or answer the door. I tried to un-mute the TV but seemed that I could not get the sound to come back on that channel. I scrolled through a few channels until I found a channel with sound and the went back to the "Silent" channel and there would be sound.....I first thought that the problem might be with the Cable Remote. However, after several calls to Charter Cable and their Techs talking me through what they thought might be the problem, I finally gave up and called VIZIO and told them the problem. They suggested many things for me to try over the phone that might isolate the problem, all the while my Factory Warranty was running out! It has been 6 months of "Stone Walling" I am not sure when , If ever, I'll get this problem resolved. I do have a 5 year extended warranty and I alerted them as to the problem I am having with VIZIO.....They finally told me yesterday that a part was ordered that will fix my TV but they don't know when it may arrive? Stay Tuned and I'll let you know if they ever fix my TV.

    I went from a 65" DLP to this and the LED picture is very clear and just pops out at you. The tv is easy to navigate between Netflix, tv and playstation. I like how thin it is however there is one thing that concerns me which is the base part of the unit. I don't know why, but it makes me nervous, like it's not sturdy enough to really hold the TV up, I'm constantly worried the base is going to break. It also seems like one side of the tv is a little lower than the other side so I have something resting under that end to keep it stabilized.

    This television is definitely a bang for your buck. You have to go into this with a mindset that it is going to be strong and possibly a little weak in some areas. Channels on HD and streaming services such as Netflix looks absolutely amazing; I was totally floored with the quality of the picture. Regular channels look very decent; understand that there is no up-scaling on this TV. Higher end sets have processing that up-scales regular channels a bit. Don't get me wrong, they look just fine; just not as good compared to something that runs $1200.00 - $1500.00. I have 80% of HD channels through Time Warner, so this isn't a concern for me. There was some tweaking to be made to the display settings, which should be expected; we all have different taste. I was so pleased that I didn't regret spending another $1200.00 that I wanted to for the 65 inch curved Samsung 4K. This is a great television; the upscaling of normal channels is the only minimal complaint that I have. I paid $800.00 and this thing will beat anything within $400.00.

    I would NOT buy this TV after knowing how long it takes for the TV to turn on. It takes at least 30 seconds after pushing the on button before seeing anything on the screen (Time 30 sec, that's too long!). If you change from a high definition channel to one that's not (just a digital channel), it takes at least 5 seconds before changing channels (The info from the cable box is already off before the TV shows a picture). The picture is good but the internet is slow has locked up several times (I have high speed cable internet too). I did contact Vizio about this and they said it is normal for their TV. I have a Sony that the pictures comes on right away and changes channels right away too.... DON'T BUY VIZIO..... GO WITH A BETTER BRAND!
