Rated 1 out of 5 by Brauvi Not what I expected This unit is not solid plastic, it's something like that fake leather used in furniture. It's flimsy, sort of a wire frame for those fabric like "shelves". I don't think it can be used as a bookcase, unless it's only for small paperbacks; I'm sure it won't hold anything heavier, and anything you put on the "shelves" will be very unstable and wobbly. I didn't even try to put it together. As soon as I opened the box and saw what was inside, I returned it asap. I must say that, as always is the case with Walmart, the delivery was very prompt. 11/20/2012
