Rated 4 out of 5 by multistrada somethings burning Very nice Fire Pit for the money, I wanted to have fires on my patio comperable to a camp fire and this one does the job. I can put full size logs in it without concern of chopping and cutting to fit like you would with a chiminea. I have had a clay chiminea and was nice, but not enough heat for chilly evenings. And no problem with wood sizes!! On initial start up the smell was pretty awfull.(oil rubbed) but burned off after an hour or two, so don't stand or have windows open down wind!!! I recieved many complements on this piece, and the visual is Very nice with open lattice in 360 degree view of embers. gets a nice draft so you can bring this fire pit to a 6 to 7+ foot flame. One factory defect was one leg thread was stripped, I installed one self taping SS screw and that fixed the problem. Otherwise, I am completly satisfied and plan on having many fires as long as it holds up. Most fire pits are 30" or less , this was the only one that I could find that is larger. The only thing is if you are in need of a cover ? I did not see one available! 10/04/2007
