You also have the option of personalizing the ringtones. Featuring intercom and call-transfer features, the Uniden DECT 1500 Series Accessory Handset & Charger helps you manage your calls with ease. The redialing function works for the last ten numbers dialed by the user.     Great phone, AFTER much ado When attempting to register the unit with the main unit, the instructions said to place the handset in it's cradle. It continued to not register and it took me ALL DAY researching the internet to find out that the handset is to be placed into the MAIN unit for registration. The first time I did this, it registered. The instructions never said to place it into the main cradle---an important piece of info, as I was going to return the phone because it could not be registered. All is well and I love the phone, now. 12/01/2010
    I found the secret trick I first ordered this phone about a month ago. I already had a 1560 base station with a single phone and wanted to add a second. After picking my new phone up at the store, I charged it as directed for about 24 hours then placed it on the base station. The handset display flashed "Registering" for about 30 seconds then displayed "Registration Failed". After numerous attempts I called Uniden customer service and they guided me through several more attempts at registration but they all resulted in failure. I then returned the handset to Walmart as defective and ordered another one.While waiting for delivery I kept thinking about the phone and realized that the new one probably wouldn't work either. There must be a trick they're not telling me about. Sure enough, when the phone arrived, I charged it, placed it on the base station and got "Registration Failed" again. When I called customer service they told me to repeat a procedure I had tried with the original handset. Unplug the power from the base station, depress and hold the "Find" button on the base station and plug power back into the station, holding "Find" until the base station charge light starts flashing. I then asked the key question "can I just unplug the power adapter from the wall or do I need to unplug the little connector that plugs into the bottom of the base station?" She said that I must unplug the little connector. I did this, then placed my phone on the base station and within 30 seconds it registered successfully. The trick was revealed. 04/14/2011
    handy dandy handset I purchased the original phone to replace an old one. Never gave a second thought to having additional hand sets around the house which is a two story large home. Was delighted when I saw I could purchase additional handsets for this model. It has worked out really well. Of course the phone only rings when you are in a different part of the house, so now it makes it much easier for me to get a call without having to try to beat the answering machine. Very satisfied. 02/06/2010
    Attached wireless to base unit originally purchased 2 units and had to return 1 because I could not get it to connect to base. I then took a chance and purchased another one which connected perfectly. Couldn't find this phone anywheres cheaper. Great dealing with Walmart. 04/11/2010
