I ordered this portable grill because I wanted to cook small meals at home and be able to take to parks and campgrounds. I was a little unsure about how it would work because of the price. I had it delivered to my home and it came a day before expected. When I opened the box I found it to be disassembled. I'l be the first to admit I don't like putting these things together, I usually have several parts left over. I called my local Walmart and asked how much they charge to put it together. to my surprise they told me no charge and they would have it ready in a 1/2 hour. The bottom line is great value, fast delivery, great customer service plus I just cooked up a cut up chicken and it worked great.
Rated 5 out of 5 by flamdog half price of the coleman roadtrip and better
This is a quality product that is half price of the coleman road trip, and better in my opinion. it stands 6" taller than the coleman and has most of the same features.
Rated 4 out of 5 by casualone Very Satisfied
Grill assembles pretty easily, fired it up and got really good results with chicken, burgers, and hot dogs. The smaller size works great for my porch, and I can fold it up for storage, or to take on a picnic.
Rated 5 out of 5 by SomethinBoutATruk This is a great portable grill!
I have bought less expensive portable grills in the past and this one was really worth spending that little extra. We are using it for our camper and boat grill! It is awesome!
Rated 5 out of 5 by FourBeagles Excellent grill, excellent price!!
I bought this as a Father's Day gift for my dad. He had a charcoal grill already, but he wanted a gas grill. I knew I wouldn't be able to afford one of those fancy grills that are priced in the 3-figure range, so I thought I'd give this grill a try. My father loves it. The assembly is very simple, it's portable (he wheels it all over the place), and it cooks some really great food!!
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ikeie The grill is a great color- not black. The shape is rather different in that it is more oblong not square or round. When cooking you can place it under windows without smoking the people inside out of the house. Folding this grill is noisy because it slams into the folded position. I have not figured out a better way to fold it without it quickly slamming into the folded position. After taking off the propane tank and before you fold the grill down in a snap, remember to also fold the side tray inside the the lid. That tuck away tray was cleaver. The tray is not very large although a plate and a beer fits just fine. Grates are different than the char grills. I am not use to them just yet. I have not cleaned it, I left it to the BBQ cook so I can't comment. The size is great for two to four or six items and more. The BBQ cook and I were the only two with items cooking. The grill does not take space when folded and wheeled to storage. That also in itself is great, fits into the shed against the wall and there is still room for a bike, chair, ladder and all around garden tool junk and me. I have a small shed and for anyone with a small space this just might be your choice. Be prepared to spend some time putting it together. There are parts and more parts. Take your time and plan ahead. Lay every part first and stay calm.
Rated 4 out of 5 by 4Hamlin11 Nice to take with you
Nice compact grill, easy to set up and take down, haul and store.
Grill plates clean up easily.
If you are going to do a lot of heavy cooking, this is not what you want.
Great for doing meals for 2 to 4 people.
Rated 5 out of 5 by tlrhvc Good grill for the money
First of all, I did ship to store because this particular grill is not carried in my home store. That went well. This grill is great right out of the box. Not to much to put together. They include all the tools you need, so no tool box is necessary. For the price, I am impressed. I looked at the Coleman version, and decided on this one. Sure, it is not solid porcelain or anything like that, but is constructed well enough for traveling. Fired it up, and cooked the best BBQ chicken I have had in awhile. Next night, cooked a steak, and it was lip smacking good. I love the portability because I love to tailgate at sports games and concerts. I also can not leave my grill outside, so it folds down and stows away perfectly. Great grill for the single person or family. Get this grill.
Rated 5 out of 5 by tdex2011 This grill works great
I live in an apartment complex with a small patio. Apartment rules no charcoal or 20lb gas tanks but can have 1lb gas tanks so I got a dozen lol. I was worried about how much gas it would use don't be. I cooked on it 3 times on one tank chicken, steaks, and chops and works great very satisfied.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Porkchop13 Love this grill
Grill came in perfect condition and was very easy to assemble (approx 30 min). I have used this every day for the last week and it cooks everything perfectly!
Rated 4 out of 5 by lloui Nice Small Grill
Overall, I think this is a nice small grill. I did not find the assembly instructions to be very clear; it took much longer than the stated 30 minutes to assemble the grill. After it was nearly assembled, I noticed that the back of the lid, above the hinges, is badly dented. Not wanting to take the thing apart in order to return it, I'll live with the damage. I definitely recommend checking all parts for damage prior to assembly. We cooked steaks on the grill this evening, and they turned out very well.
Rated 2 out of 5 by babyy45 Instruction Manual not true to product
Liked that it came partially assembled. But, no instructions in the manual how to assemble the control knob nor the wind guard. Neither were pre-assembled. Also no info how to use the windguard - do you face the windguard opening up or down and do you slide it left or right and when? I had to GUESS through tiny manual illustrations and google images if the windguard opening faces up or down but I still don't know how to use it, only an idea. I screwed on the control know but it spins around until you fold down the tray to keep is still. Is that how it is supposed to be? No indication in the manual.
I ordered this folding grill thinking it would be a good choice in a small home with a small yard. Also, when we get hurricanes and tropical storms, it's small enough to bring inside and rolls right into my small garage.
Also, for women by ourselves, the small propane tanks are a lot easier to lug around than that 20 lb tank. However, since the 20 lb is more cost-effective, it may be a good idea to use when we are not in hurricane season. It lasts longer and if not in hurricane season, no need to move it for a storm, for at least 6 months of the year.
Without the 20 lb hookup option I would never have bought this one. I checked that before I bought it. I like having options.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rivyfan Compact. lightweight, what I was looking for.
Great addition for tailgating. Wish it came in additional colors.
Rated 3 out of 5 by beadescape problem with packaging
This product appears to be very good quality and well designed - however, the manufacturer did not pack the (flimsy) box very well and the top of the BBQ was damage by a bolt/nut inside. Also, the single strips of tape holding the (flimsy) box together were severely splitting. Had to contact UniFlame for a replacement part - no problem there, but now have to wait an additional week for the part. Hope my expectations of a good product are ultimately met.
Rated 5 out of 5 by XTWINK everything I wanted and more
This overexceeded what I thought it was. I love it. It is pretty sturdy you can take it to travel. I do not have much space and this is the perfect size versus the big grill and the heavy container. I can buy the refill cannisters quickly without lugging that tank. Great little grill does a great job
Rated 1 out of 5 by wmangel I cannot reccomend this product
The construction is flimsy and only 1/2 of the grill actually grilled anything even though the flame appeared uniform. It goes through propane faster than has been my experience with other grills. I am very unhappy with this product.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Candybar9000 My favorite summer purchase!
I purchased this grill after looking over many different options. We have used it 3 - 4 times per week to cook burgers, hot dogs and chicken shish kebobs but I really put it to the test with rib eye steaks...they were delicious! You have to be sure to clean the grease off the surfaces to prevent flames from shooting out the back (this happens if the grill is set to "high" and you have the top down too long while cooking meats with higher fat content like burgers). Just take proper precautions and you can prepare delicious foods.
Rated 4 out of 5 by stac36 Good Deal!
Have only used the grill a couple of times, but it worked excellent and was easy to put together. The propane tanks were only $2.50 and last about two hours. I did light grilling and the food was excellent, evenly cooked. Easy to fold and move around. Needs a pin or lock to keep lid secure.
Rated 4 out of 5 by massirider just what i needed
This is a fine little grill.
it is what I wanted for quick meals. I like charcoal grilling best, but never have enough time to set it all up. With this grill pop it up turn it on you're grillin ! Clean up is easy too.
The only bad thing I can say is there was a defect in the paint on the hood. Might try and get it replaced, but not sure if it's worth the effort.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Yidie Great little BBQ'er
This is an awesome little BBQ'er! For the price you can't beat it! Don't spend your money on the high dollar ones, this does the job just fine! It also has a bigger grill then most smaller ones and it gets nice and hot and grills the food great! Putting it together was easy. I do have to say the first order came with a couple scratches that were very deep in the green cover and a hard plastic piece was broken. This did not happen during shipping. You can tell it was packaged that way which was upsetting that they would let this go out this way. We ordered another one before we returned the first one to make sure that one came in good shape. It was such a great price we wanted to make sure we did not miss out on the price and we reorder and they say its out of stock. Well it was in stock and we received the second gas grill in perfect condition and then we took back the first gas grill to our WalMart store with no problems. My husband loves this grill! We have a huge gas grill and wanted this one for camping and where we live if its really windy at times and our huge gas grill is no fun to run out to in the wind and with the wind it does not always stay lite so we keep this one on the side of the house and when its windy, no problem at all. It stays lite and we are good to go! We are very happy with this grill!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Clovercurls I put this grill together by myself in about an hour. Instructions are simple enough to follow. I was surprised at how quickly my food cooked up. This is a great size for my patio area. You will have to purchase canisters of propane separately. But still a great buy for the money.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ghjitxvv I haven't used it yet but it went together pretty easy. It doesn't look or feel flimsy. I'm sure I'll love it.
Rated 2 out of 5 by bernard74 not sure what to think yet!
I orderd this grill on line, a few days ago. Grill shows up all smashed. Ok, I know this sometimes happens in shipping, but wow somebody actually tried to tape up the smashed part to make it look better. All I could say is wow. But on a possitive note, I brought it back to the store and they took it back peacefully. Going to try one more time to order it, hopefully in one piece. Cross your fingers! Ill give another review on the second time around, stay tuned.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mimi1b Fair for the money
I'd looked at sturdier gas grills for tailgating. Of course, they were double and triple the price. So for the money this unit was fine. But I don't think it's going to hold up that well. While putting it together; the hood was a little bent so it didn't line up great and when I tried straightening it, the paint that looked like powder coating chipped off at the "bend stress" point. Definitely not powder coated.
Rated 4 out of 5 by tailgatekeeper Product was great working at a tailgate. No issues, and easy to put together. Only issue was a scuff on the grill when we opened the box and had to touch up. Great for the price.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Golfer4fun Would have loved it, if lid had not been dented up!
Rated 5 out of 5 by KS113 Have to say I love this grill! Great size and fold so nice. Easily puts together. Burgers were perfect on it too. Easy to clean up grill parts too. My only complaint is when it was shipped the lid to it arrived banged up and pain was chipped away, but they are sending one out. Hope we get it soon! Its on back order!!
Rated 5 out of 5 by Msuzi2 portable grill
Got this as a Fathers Day Gift, had shipped to store site. Is perfect for a small area like porch or small balcony etc, can cook for up to 4 people (cooking space wise) it don't take up much room at all. The color was a vibrate green and had a little shelf on the side and a place to hang cooking stuff for grill. Need to say we broke that thing in right that day Also would be great for to take on picnic, camping etc. very transportable. If limited on storage spage takes up no more room than a broom would. Just love this grill. Uses small bottle butane can find in camping area stuff, suggest purchase a few of them. :)
