Fantastic,,Easily understood!! In the beginning for me, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc., were like reading Japanese. With a renewed interest in photography with the purchase of a teleconverter for my Canon Powershot S2IS recently, I decided i was going to learn, reading bits of info online helped, but this book really gives you a better understanding of everything. You no longer feel you're in a fog of being confused and struggling to get the meaning. I'm 55 years old, and it's the first time ever in my life that I read a book from cover to cover,,,now that should tell you something! The book is filled with great photos and a explanation of how to achieve the effect by selecting proper aperture, shutter speed, also a clear, right to the point explanation of the definition of these functions, after the read, you'll truly understand what's going on, a full mental image of what aperture is, how it works, shutter speed, the effects you get when proper setting is used, now only if I can turn my knowledge and understanding into skill,,,that remains to be seen!,,,Great book!!,,,many other topics covered also,,,,GET IT NOW!!!! 08/20/2011

Great book highly recommended I have purchased several photograhy books and I must say thisis a must to have for understanding relationship between ISO, Shutter speed and f-stops. 04/13/2011
I ordered this for my sister in law for Christmas. The product itself was what I expected however I paid for gift wrapping and my brother told me when they got it that it was poorly wrapped and he had to rewrap it. I would def. recommend the product to a friend but won't pay for the gift wrapping again. 01/07/2012
