Rated 1 out of 5★ by GreatWhiteSharkPA Bad Sled Product The only assembly required was to attach the steering handle. There were three pre-drilled holes in the handle and three pre-drilled holes in the frame. The holes in the frame had sunk bolt nuts. The holes were so misaligned that there was no way the handle could be affixed to the frame. The manufacturer sugggested as much in the instructions, that indicated the customer should drill out your own holes to make it fit.Return to store was courteous and fast. 12/16/2012
Rated 1 out of 5★ by whydidmtnboyselltowalmart Love the sled, not the shipper. I love MOUNTAIN BOY SLEDWORKS' product, but it was Walmart that failed with shipping. No signature confimation was odered through UPS, the cheapest option. It arrived on time, but the package was left outside for what might've been days. 12/31/2012

Rated 4 out of 5★ by Prouddaddyoftwo A good sled for under $40 It's a good product for the price. I bought on clerance for $39 and the pad for $5. As some of the customers noted the pre-drilled holes do not match, I just moved the corner holes to the center about 1/8 inches and screw holes matched . You need a power drill for the job and about 5 minutes. Took it for a test drive last weekend. I was riding with one of my daughters each time (they are 4 and 5 yrs old and weigh 45 lbs each and I weigh 170 lbs). It was fun and the most important thing I had CONTROL, I could steer by holding from the rope sitting in the back and using my heels to control the speed and also as a brake. I saw some others sliding on plastic pans and nearly falling off the cliff because did not have control. I would recommend this product and matter of fact I'm getting another one so my wife can sled with one of daughters instead of waiting . 02/12/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by markntime Very cool sled; some assembly required + drill I ordered 2 of these and one arrived broken in shipment. Walmart was great; credited my purchase and sent a return tag for the item. I reordered and received another within days. Great service. The sled is very well built. FYI - The handle needs to be installed and the holes may not line up with threads on the sled. I had to drill out and enlarge the holes on the handle to get all 3 screws in. Not a big deal for someone with a little woodworking skills, but may be a challenge for others. We have several other types of sleds and can't wait for next season to try these out. These wood sleds are heavier and may take a little more effort to lug up a hill. Hopefully with the extra weight they will go down faster. Our ages range from 8 to ancient. :) 04/23/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by ShoshoneSnow I am extremely impressed with our new sled! My family and I had an awesome sledding party on Feb. 10th, when we brought the new Mountain Boy. It glides effortlessly. Wheither being pulled across a flat area or slope this sled is truely the 'Ultimate"! 02/15/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by OccasionalReviewer13 Great value for a high performance sled This is a great sled if you like to go fast on hard pack snow. It's not quite as good on deep fluffy snow. Be aware that the sled is quite slippery when first used. The addition of some non-slip material or the Mountain Boy sled pad is recommended. One of the holes in the handle did not exactly line up with the hole in the sled, so I had to drill it out just slightly larger to get the last screw in. Once in it held very well. 02/20/2013
