usb modem There were claims that this product would not work and be troublesome with AOL. I plugged it into the USB port on my laptop, plugged in my dialup phone line, installed the software and dialed into AOL. I did not have to do anything special at all. I have always preferred USR modem over the last 15 years. Very happy with the product. 07/31/2009
A big help I have a Sony Vaio computer that has an Ethernet connection port, but DSL is not servicable in my neck of the woods (literally).....so this product is truly a big help. I can still have Internet access even without DSL. It's easy to install on the hard drive....just connect one end to a USB port, the other end to a phone jack and go....I love it!!!!! 06/16/2009

It works - but only if you follow directions. The modem works but directions for installation has to be followed to the letter.Their phone support is excellent as well as their online support. 05/30/2009
