Problem with sound The sound would not properly transfer. We tried on two different computers still did not work. It is not user friendly and has no manual with it. There is no tech support. I would not recommend this product. 10/29/2010
USB-Live2 So far, this device has been able to do everything I've needed it to do. The Ulead Movie Factory software that came with the USB-Live2 is pretty lame, but works OK. The Hauppage software is great and easy to use. 10/26/2010
great tuner, bad with ringin sound i bought it from another site like Amazon but i seen Walmart online got the same thing, one thing is that its a great product, it be alot better if the ringin sounds goes away, but thats what it does when i plug in the main tuner box. starts makin noise. i got another Hauppage tuner 950q, it dont even make a ringin sound with or without the red, white and yellow plugged in but had it for a while the usb port on the box itsself or the the cab usb is lose and flickers, must be when it been tugged, twisted and pulled too much. these are great products. i wish Pinnacle didnt sell these to Hauppage cause i got Pinnacle PCI tuners, they are great to use and no problems cause they use the s video end by convertin it from rca ends and i know my computers and laptops, the usb live 2 just ring tooo much and gotta lower the speakers and higher the tuner or the other way around 11/14/2010
depends on what you want to use this for This product is compatible with my computer (windows 7), but is not what I really wanted. I prefer the older style capture devices that are box type units and have MPEG1 and MPEG2. This unit and all other similar units only have MPEG2. Since it uses so much storage space after capture I will use it very sparringly. I will continue to use the older capture device with my XP laptop until it stops functioning. However, for the price, the unit is easy to work and I had no problem capturing. I have not used the software program included as I prefer another one I had just upgraded. If you don't plan on keeping (storing) the captured file after editing and burning, it is a good product. 02/16/2012
