Rated 5 out of 5★áby Excellent beef stew kit!! Everything you need is there. You can add more veggies also. Great for beef stew all week and not having to cook anything else. 04/22/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★áby Plastic Taste This was truly awful and I threw it out. It had a musty, chemical taste. I am thinking it must be the disodium phosphate that the meat is infused with. Normally I will eat a bad dish out of duty because I hate to waste food, but I dumped this out. Nasty. 03/09/2014
Rated 1 out of 5★áby Absolutely horrid taste I thought this would be an easy meal to fix while watching basketball. It should have had everything I need. As it cooked I could tell it had an odd smell. It does not smell like typical beef stew. After 8 hours of cooking I decided to taste it. It tastes just like it smells and that is not a good thing. I don't know what they used in that flavor packet but I don't think any of it was natural. Save yourself the expense (over $12) and just buy the ingredients and some McCormick seasoning. 03/22/2014
Rated 1 out of 5★áby seasoning packet makes it horrible bought this today thinking it would be an easy but delicious dinner. It might work if you toss the seasoning packet in the trash and just add your own. about all the seasonings I could tell were in it were some salt and a TON of black pepper. I have had other prepackaged food/meals that have done the same thing. it seems ever since the general public has become aware of the dangers of too much salt, some restaurants and food companies think that by reducing salt content (and some of them certainly don't do that), and adding 10 times the normal amount of pepper, that this somehow makes up for the lack of saltiness. There is so much pepper in this product that it upset my stomach a little and I don't have a sensitivity to pepper, generally. Pepper is about all I could taste. How about some salt and a little garlic, if they are only going to use a couple spices? I think a lot more people would enjoy that, rather than half a container of pepper. Talk about ruining perfectly good meat, potatoes, and carrots. 04/02/2014
